Upload! May 17th 2022

Apologies for the late post today. I'm trying to wrap up my NYC trip and squeezing in everyone I can. I really miss my SO and 4 kits! I might place a small order from today's upload. I'm eyeing the Align HR Short 6" Diamond Dye Seashell Smoky Topaz and the Cotton-Cashmere Knit HR Short 4" Heathered Raw Linen. I was hoping for some more Hotty Hot Shorts 2.5 inch length in Electric Turquoise, but so far they are only offered in the 4 inch length. Let me know if you ordered anything!

(I am loving her hair!)

Ebb To Street Tank Strawberry Milkshake

(Please release these in the 2.5" length!)

(Tempted to try these, they look so comfortable but would prefer 3".)

(Might get these, I am such a sucker for Diamond Dye.)

(Should I try this? I am still not a fan of the Lulu tab on the side, but it looks cute. Reviews say it is way too small though. 😐)

  1. I like the Hotty Hot HR Shorts in Electric Turquoise, but have a hard time deciding between that or Athleta's Ace Tennis Skort in Gulf Green. The two colours look so similar online! I wear shorts more often than skorts, but I like that the Ace Tennis Skort fits me as a true high rise. I also prefer the large zippered back pocket of the skort. Decisions, decisions...

Have a smooth trip home, Leslie! Please let us know how you like the Cotton-Cashmere Knit HR Short 4"! It looks great on the model, but I wonder how the fabric will hold up over time. Hopefully it's a high quality knit that won't pill easily.

    1. Hi Karen! Electric Turquoise really does look the same as Gulf Green. I would order both and see which one you prefer.

I will definitely try the Cotton-Cashmere Shorts and will write up a review. They're $98 so they better be high quality! I can't wait to be home. I really miss my regular routine more than I thought I ever would!

    2. I decided to hold off purchasing. Gonna wait to see what's released next Tuesday!

I read about your flight delay on instagram. You and your SO are so sweet!
Hope you're home now and able to relax~

    3. Hi Karen! Aw, thanks! Yes I am home! Back to my routine with some tea and now checking emails.

Next time, I hope to get some more questions lol!

  2. I MUST have the HH HR 2.5 in Electric Turquoise. I feel like it's going to sell out so fast. I hope I can get a restock if I miss it. My Strawberry Milkshake HH are still in transit... I ordered them the night of the launch :(

    1. Hi Janessa!

Oh totally, it will sell like hot cakes. I have to be online when it drops! I can't believe you still haven't gotten your Strawberry Milkshake HHs. I hope they didn't get lost. =(

  3. Nothing for me this week! I, too, am hoping for HH HR 2.5 in Electric Turquoise. If they ever upload, they are going to sell out in minutes, for sure.

I have a couple of long sleeves being delivered today, and if they DON'T work, I've decided to keep the Strawberry Milkshake Swiftly. If I prefer either one over the Swiflty, then it's going back. I decided I like it, but it will be so long until I can actually wear it. The Charged Indigo one that uploaded yesterday looks like the same thicker jacquard weave.

Home sweet home really is sweet, isn't it? I love trips but also love getting back into my groove. Hope you had a great trip!

    1. Hi LZ! I am positive they will sell out in minutes also. Will have to be on top of that one. I think we'll get it next week?

Let us know how if you end up keeping your Swiftlys. It is so interesting how they're all very different depending on the color.

Trip was fantastic! Got to see so much and eat too much lol. I am glad to be back.

  4. Both new long sleeves are going back, so I'm keeping the Strawberry Milkshake Swiftly! I like both, but at $68 and $78, they have to be perfect for me to keep.

The first is the High Neck Run and Train LS (Rover). I sized down to a 2 and like the fit and fabric. However, I intend to wear it as a cover-up piece in the hot Texas summer, and it feels too hot for that. It would be nice for winter workouts, but I prefer the fit and fabric of the Swiftly.

The second is the Lightweight Stretch Run LS (Wild Mint). I went with my tts 4, and the fit is odd. It is tight in the arms, bulky in the shoulders, wide around the waist, and so hard to get over my head. The material is super light and actually really nice as a UV protective shirt, but the fit won't cut it for me.

    1. Thank you LZ for the quick run down on these tops. The Rover looks really nice. Good to know the Lightweight Stretch Run has a weird fit. I saw the Milkshake Swiftly at the store when I was in NY, it's very pretty!

We tried HelloFresh for the past two months - Here's our review

Hi everyone! This post is written by my husband. Some of you may know he does all the cooking around here. 😅 We noticed we were spending a lot of money on food and eating out every month and wanted to see if a meal kit service would save us money and time. After looking at a few meal kit services we settled on HelloFresh. Without further ado, here's Jared's review. (Original post date Aug 2022). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have seen from Leslie's Instagram stories for the past 2 months, we've been using HelloFresh for most of our meals. The main drivers for this were to better track what we eat and because on the advice of my doctor, I should be eating more home cooked meals. Before I go any further, it should be noted that my original career path was in culinary arts, but twists and turns in life changed that. So I do have formal cooking experience. A little background story. Over the years, I've developed

Review! Everywhere Belt Bag Extended Strap VS Everywhere Belt Bag Original

Happy May! Can't believe summer is right around the corner. I'm looking forward to visiting my family later this month. It's been nearly a year since I've been back to NYC. I'm already thinking about all the dim sum I'm going to cram in the 10 days I'm there! 😆  Today I have a review of the new  Everywhere Belt Bag Extended Strap  compared to the original  Everywhere Belt Bag  that is slowly being phased out. 😢  **** Update - The original Everywhere Belt Bag has been phased out completely.
