I do like a couple of items from this drop. Scuba Full Zip Hoodie in Vintage Plum looks so up my alley! Also like the Align HR Short 6" in Pink Lychee and of course they had to raise the price on it to $64. With tax it's over $70 for me. For a pair of shorts?! Yikes, right? Did anyone else buy anything from this drop? I've added both items to my cart but haven't checked out yet. What do you guys think, are the higher prices making you pause on clicking the 'Place Order' button? Let me know!

ReplyDeleteI agree with you on the Align shorts pricing. If 25" Aligns are $98, what are they thinking charging $64 for 6"??
I really like the Highlight Orange Swiftly LS Race, but who thought it would look good mixed with Lunar Rock?? It just looks dirty to me. I'll be skipping even on markdown. I wish it was solid!
Right?! I just don't know if I can stomach $64 for 6 inches!! Maybe if I didn't have to pay tax. I'll sleep on it. It will be interesting to see if it sells out.

I can’t say no to Scuba Full Zip Hoodie in Vintage Plum, and I hope it’s not bright like the Nulu Cropped Define you’ve tried on. Some of my older Scubas look pretty worn out and I think it’s okay to get a new one and, better get it before a price increase, :D

I ordered POCC in Mineral Blue and White Opal when they restocked this morning. I can only justify keeping one though.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the fit of the HH Skirt when I tried it on in the store. The white color looks very tempting. I would have ordered it immediately if it were $58. The price increase is getting pretty ridiculous. Fortunately there is no sales tax on clothing in MA.

Nothing for me! I'm getting more picky so nothing is that tempting in this drop. I think the Pink blossom scuba full zip was restocked yesterday on the cdn site (and released on the us site), and I missed it by about 3 hrs. Would have been tempted!

It looks like Lulu updated the style. This has a scoop neck and it looks like they improved the side coverage. The new price is deterring for sure, but I think I may like this new cut. Graphite Grey is such a good neutral that I probably won't be able to snatch this on markdown.
The Scuba in Vintage Plum is also tempting, but I have enough Scubas that I can say no to this one.
Ohhhh I somehow missed the ETS Cropped Tank! I think I might need to give that a try, I like the lower neckline. Thanks for the heads up Karen!
Deletehi Leslie, I received the ETS Cropped tank today. The side coverage has NOT improved. That combined with the lower neckline makes the tank too revealing in my opinion. Unfortunately, it's return for me.

May be it'll work for you because I think you wear size 6 for that tank. I ordered size 8 for more room in the rib cage, and the neck opening is too low on my short torso. 6 would've been a better choice.

DeleteHi Karen! I got the ETS Crop Tank today and the size 6 did not work for me at all. The chest was very narrow to the point where it gave me armpit fat. I think I need to size up to an 8! Don't think I will take photos because it really does not fit me... It is cut lower, which I didn't mind on the 6 but wonder if it will be too low in the 8.

ReplyDeleteOther than that, nothing really caught my eye. I'm getting pretty bored with the same old styles just being released in different colors every week. And the higher prices are definitely calming down any impulse purchases for me - they would have to release something pretty darn interesting for me to buy it at regular price these days!

But agreed, the prices are making me pause long enough, but apparently sizes are still selling out even with the higher prices. I think that's so interesting.
