It's International Women's Day! Lots to discuss! Lululemon just announced their footwear line and the date for the first drop is March 22nd. There's also going to be a summer drop for the slides. You can check all of that out here. Any price point guesses? I'm going to say it'll be around $150-$200 for the running shoes. These are the two I'm looking at. I hope they offer these in size 5 or 5.5.

I am super excited about this collection. I love Alicia Keys and so happy to see Athleta representing women of color. This isn't the first time and it definitely won't be the last. Keep it coming!
This is my one pick that I had to have from the collection. The Keys Hoodie looks amazing in Smoked Almond Brown. I ordered it in XXS and XS to try. Hoping one of them works for me! Let me know if you ordered anything today!

I'm not wowed by the shoes, so those will be an easy pass for me. The bottoms pictured with the Swiftly High Neck Tank Top Race Vintage Plum look fun! The print would be too much for me as leggings, but I would be interested in a bra.
ReplyDeleteI've really been wanting a pair of hot pink shorts, and the Sonic Pink Speed Up 2.5's are currently in stock in my size, but I don't need them--especially for $68! If they were Highlight Pink, I probably would have caved, though.

I was hoping Lulu would release more Hotty Hot Shorts in new colors, but that didn't happen. I did order the ETS Cropped Tank though. I would like to see this print in person.
Looking forward to your review on the Keys Hoodie! The matching wide leg pants look very comfy. Too bad they're not available in petite length, at least not in Canada. The 31.5" inseam would be much too long for me!

ReplyDeleteI'm loving the Athleta x Alicia Keys stuff! Such pretty colors! I look forward to your review of the hoodie - that was the first thing that caught my eye, but it's just too pricey for me. I will have to live vicariously through you :) That Smoked Almond is gorgeous! I did cave on the Keys Relaxed Crop Tee in Magnolia White.

DeleteThe Crop Tee arrived already! It's a definite keep for me. The fabric has a brushed texture, and has a little bit of weight to it, which gives it a nice drape. Actually, it's very similar to Softstreme, in my opinion. Also, the Magnolia color isn't transparent! I think, for a t-shirt, it feels "upscale". I went with the xxs (I'm a pretty solid 4 in Lulu), and I'm really happy with it, but I think a person could size up for a more slouchy oversized look. I wish it came in that almond color too!

DeleteI'm 5ft1. The xxs hits just above my belly button. The neck hole is a little tight to get the head through actually, so you might like the xs better.

DeleteNothing for me this upload. I have been shying away from LLL lately. I can only have so much activewear! And stuff that I like is out of stock like bright colored shorts or groove pants. I'm tired of stalking the site for items. Did you see vuori has flare pants? I really like the look of those. They said to size up for a looser fit. Not sure if the length would be waaay too long either.
ReplyDeleteHi Janessa! Yes I saw the flare pants at Vuori the other day, they're kind of wide leg right? The length is always too long I think they're 31.5 inches. Tempted to try but if I kept I would def need to have it hemmed.
