Upload! January 18th 2022

Um... where are the LNY items?! There's less than two weeks to go and I'm doubting if we will ever see any of the items. So far nothing too exciting from today's drop. I'm heading into a Frugal February so I'm getting antsy and wondering if next month is when all the good stuff is released! 😆

Nothing for me this week. Let me know what you think of today's drop and if you bought anything!

Honorable Mention -

Yes I know they changed the name to customizable snap scarf, but we all know this is the Vinyasa Scarf. The price has dropped from $68 to $29 and I am soooo tempted but at the same time I don't need a scarf!! ACK. Someone help me. 😂

  1. What a disappointing upload! That said, I’m not surprised. I haven’t been excited about very many new releases lately. Hopefully next week will be full of LNY!

    1. Sigh... I think if it doesn't happen next week, it won't be happening at all. =(

  2. Nothing for me either! Lululemon drops have been boring lately, which is good for my wallet!

  3. Nothing interesting again. I've got some credit from Christmas present returns I'm itching to use and there's nothing to buy. Whomp, whomp.

I'm with you...where's the LNY stuff?? At this rate, I'd settle for plain black aligns with a gold logo.

    1. Hi! I too have some gift cards to use. I'm definitely interested in some of the LNY items. Waiting for some cute accessories and definitely would like to see the Scubas with the gold accents. Hoping for it next week!

  4. Yup, I have been bored with Lululemon lately! It is the same stuff in different colors.

If the LNY stuff drop next week, I may purchase the red Scuba Oversized Full Zip and red Swiftly LS due to the hype. How many Scuba Oversized jackets and Swiftly LS do I need in my collection? How often would I wear the festive LNY ones? I may be in the minorities here. Although I love the small gold logo on the Swiftly, the large gold on the red Scuba hood makes it less wearable for me.

    1. Hi AmherstLulu- I hear you. Probably why I have broadened my purchases to other brands. I still seem to spend the most at Lulu but maybe this year another brand may take over. I don't mind the Lulu logo but I do miss the embroidery logo the most. Seems like we do not see those anymore on the Scubas as much.

    2. I mean contrasting logo. I always thought it looked really nice with the embroidery. Also just checked the landing page and looks like it's going straight to Valentine's Day gifts. Makes me think it's skipping LNY.

  5. Wow Misty Glade and Silver Blue are totally my colors! :D Can't wait to see more of that. Nothing for me I forgot about the drop today

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
