Fit Review Friday! Ebb To Street Cropped Tank & Wunder Under High-Rise Crop Shine

Happy Friday! Is it sad that Lululemon hasn't tempted me with much lately? I'm still patiently waiting for Lunar New Year items to drop and still hoping we will get a Scuba Plush Hoodie but to be honest it will be a miracle at this point if it happens. My guess is that since the Scuba Oversized hoodies did so well, Lululemon didn't bother making the plush Scubas. Such a shame really. I wouldn't be surprised if the next plush Scuba was an Oversized Scuba hoodie.

I purchased these Wunder Under from the Black Friday sale which seems like forever ago. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon bottoms.

(Currently sold out, however few sizes left in the 28" length)

I haven't worn a pair of Wunder Unders in a long time. I forgot that they are slightly compressive. They do suck everything in and makes me look sleek (I think the word is snatched these days). The length is 23" which means they look full length on me and there is some ankle gaping. They remind me of pants from the 70s actually but with a modern twist. The fabric is luxtreme and because of the foil, they almost feel a little crinkly.

Here are some close up photos of the gorgeous print. It really is beautiful. When the lighting hits the design just right, the color really pops. While I love the look, I am not a fan of the slightly compressive feel, so I will be listing these babies up on Poshmark soon. Feel free to give me a follow!

I added two more Ebb To Street Cropped Tanks in Blue Nile and Rover. I've reviewed these a bunch in the past so I won't bore you all with the fit review. Blue Nile is a gorgeous blue and it's more of a spring summer color. I already know it will be one of my favorites.

(Already on sale!)

Rover reminds me of Gray Sage which is another one of my favorite colors. It's a great neutral that will work with a lot of my outfits. It's a mix of taupe and gray with a slight green undertone. That's it for me! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Lol at "snatched" - so true. That's the new adjective for sleek now. Feeling old lol.

Too bad you don't like the wunder under - they look great on you!

Pink blossom scuba half zip - yup, I missed the boat on that one. My wallet thanked me but I'm semi sad :p

I tried on the funnel scuba in pink savannah but personally, I like having the hood!

    1. Yeah I definitely feel old when I hear the word snatched hahahahah.

Oh really. I haven't tried on the funnel Scuba yet. Otherwise did you find the fit to be the same as the other versions?

    2. Yup, same fit! So you might not like it 😅

    3. That's too bad, but my wallet is happy. Ha!

  2. hi Leslie! Thanks for the fit review! The foil print is very pretty, but I would be bothered by the ankle gap. I find Athleta leggings to fit so much better at the ankles! So far, I've tried their Elation, Salutation and Rainier tights, and they all fit perfectly! I hope Lululemon brings Asia/Petite fit to North America soon, or they will be losing my business to Athleta!

I like both Blue Nile and Rover! If these tanks make their way to WMTM, I will try to snatch them up! I have given up on Scuba Plush for this winter. Hopefully they will return next Christmas!

    Have a great weekend!

    1. Yes, Athleta leggings are perfect. I love the joggers from Athleta. All my bottoms now are either from Athleta or Vuori. Lululemon is definitely losing my money in that department. Although my shorts are still Lulus. That's about it though.

Blue Nile is on WMTM! But I think most sizes are gone. Have a nice weekend Karen!

    2. oh, oops! I missed it! It's ok! I have enough tanks~

I agree. All my shorts are Lululemon too! They're the best!

  3. I have to try an ETS crop tank!! It looks amazing on you! I don't wear patterned pants so I've learned.... but those are pretty butt I'd love them more if it weren't for the flare ankles. I've never tried the 23" except in aligns (fitted in my size down) bc I was afraid of the ankle flare

  4. Hi Janessa! Thanks, the ETS crop tank is my favorite. Happy I found it since the Align Tanks do not work for me. I had two and ended up rehoming them.

The only ones that do not give me ankle flare are 19" and 17". It's so sad!

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
