Fit Review Friday! Athleta Haul Part 1 Relaxed Weekender Tee, Daily Relaxed Tea Dye Tee, Coaster Luxe Sweatshirt
Happy Friday! It's also officially October! 😱 The leaves are actually starting to turn here in Atlanta, which is kind of surprisingly early. It's the start of autumn and Halloween. I'm here for it! Today I have part one of my Friends & Family Athleta haul. It's slowly trickling in and I'll post my reviews as they arrive. In other news my Lululemon finally arrived and I'll have that review up next week. 😃
For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. I wear size PXS/XXS in Athleta. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon tops.
This top features a cowl neck and has a very beautiful drape when tucked in the front. I have it partially tucked in for a super casual look. If left untucked the silhouette is very wide and boxy. The fabric is made of soft Tencel Modal which is very comfortable against the skin. It has a cool silky feel.
I'm wearing size XXS and it's still very roomy, it runs large and has an oversized fit. This top is great for return to office wear and can easily double duty for weekend outfits as well. I picked the Metropolis Gray color which has a hint of green in it.
Next up we have the Daily Relaxed Tea Dye Tee in Cordofan Blue. What's really interesting about this tee is how it was made. The color was made from tea waste from ice tea manufacturing. Apparently this is one of Athleta's initiatives to be more sustainable in creating less waste using less water than standard dye methods. I'm all for it! I'm wearing size XXS and it still has a very relaxed fit.

The fabric is soft but crisp. The sleeve hits around my bicep which offers a little more coverage than the usual t-shirt. I definitely prefer the longer sleeve length.
Here are a couple of photos of the tee untucked. The length hits at the full part of my hip. I do think it looks best worn tucked in the front.
Last but not least we have one of my favorite pullovers, the Coaster Luxe Sweatshirt. I had to see the purple in person since it's my favorite color along with pink! It did not disappoint. It's the perfect shade of deep purple.
I'm wearing size PXS and really like the relaxed fit. The one thing that I don't love is how long the sleeves are. They are pretty slouchy even when I use the thumbholes. I'm surprised at how long the sleeves are considering it is petite sizing. The fabric is made of their softest Nirvana fabric. Feels like heaven, but it does pill. I wish Athleta would have released this shade in a heathered version because it helps mask the pilling.
The length is longer in the back and covers your assets.

Love everything about the Coaster Luxe Sweatshirt Deep Crocus Violet except the sleeve length! The color is soooo pretty! I wanna give it a try but hopefully Athleta will run a Thanksgiving sale for Canada. Might also get the Relaxed Weekender Tee as well cos I love everything with cowl collar.

DeleteHi Andrea, Minimalistic Gray does have a green undertone. It's still a gray color for sure though. Hopefully Canada will get the Deep Crocus Violet color soon! I heard a store was just opened up too! In West Vancouver.

Hi Janessa! Athleta doesn't carry their petite sizing at the stores which always bums me out. That's why 99% of the times I have to order online. Which Athleta pants did you get?
