Upload! August 31st 2021

I can't believe I made it a whole month! Wooooo, I'm celebrating tomorrow when it's finally September. I will be placing a pretty big Lululemon order so we can have some new reviews! You know I am definitely eyeing a few items in Dusky Lavender like the Everywhere Belt Bag and Perfectly Oversized Cropped Crew. I definitely don't need another POCC or EBB... but I still want it! 😆

By the way did Athleta launch in Canada? If so, how was the experience?

Let me know what you got!!

(😍😍😍 OMG!)

(Finally! I gotta say I want this!)

  1. hi Leslie, Yes, Athleta launched in Canada today....so unfortunately, I broke my no-buy one day early! I ordered the Elation Tight in PXS and Girls' Polartec Tight in size L. I want to see how the girls' sizing compares to women's sizing. Hopefully there will be no ankle flare with these tights!

I'm also excited about Lululemon's upload today! Very tempted by the POCC in dusty lavender. I do not own one yet and I love the fit of this pullover on you! It is quite expensive though, so I have to think about it~

    1. Well done Karen! Glad you did the no buy challenge with me this month. Close enough I say. Definitely let me know what you think of the two pairs of tights from Athleta.

That POCC in Dusty Lavender is really calling my name but I already have THREE of them.... =T

  2. I was going to order the Athleta Studio Jogger in two colors (size XXS) but when I was checking out, the Black Heather one disappeared from the cart (sold out). According to your fit review, size XS might fit a bit big for me so I ended up not ordering anything at all. Will wait for restock in size XXS and hopefully by that time, the Pranayama Wrap will be available in some nice fall colors.

    1. That's too bad Andrea! Yes the XXS either sits there or sells out super fast. I do think you would definitely fit size XXS.

  3. Dusky lavender is SO pretty! I am considering that POCC or the Cozy Fleece Boyfriend Boxy Zip-Up Hoodie from Aritzia (instead of the LLL scuba full zip which runs bigger than the half zip!)
I can't wait to see your new LLL haul and reviews!!

    1. Hi Janessa! If you get the POCC let me know how you like it! I have not looked at Aritzia in a little while... might have to check that out.

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
