Upload! August 10th 2021

This was a giant upload. I'm currently on day 10 of my no buy month and I'm happy to report I'm doing okay! This is only the 2nd out of five uploads this month though, so I'm sure there will be lots to tempt me with coming up. Did anyone get a pair of these from last week? Align High-Rise Ruched Waist Crop was uploaded later and I didn't get to post it so I'm including it this week even though it's almost completely sold out. New Topography print is out but not my up of tea. There's also a couple of new pinks on the block, Pink Lychee and Pow Pink. I a liking Wild Berry and would like to see more items. Nothing for me, what did you all get?

Scuba Oversized 1/2 Zip Maldives Green

(These came out last week but I didn't get to post!)

(This looks super cozy but also very oversized)

(The 90s are officially back?)

(Looks so cozy for fall)

  1. I haven't bought anything so far in August either! The Align High-Rise Ruched Waist Crop 22" looks interesting, but I don't really need another pair of black leggings.

    1. Woo hoo! We are doing great lol. Agreed, don't really need another pair of black leggings but I'm sure they will release it in more colors considering how fast they went!

  2. I would’ve gotten the Pleated Modal Fleece Pullover in Grey but it’s sold out in the smaller sizes. Not a navy person so I will pass. Really cute style though,

    1. Hi Andrea! That one is pretty cute, but I noticed in both colors there is no side shot. I bet the front poofs out and isn't very cute from the side view. But I agree, would still like to see it in other colors besides navy and gray. It has potential.

  3. I tried the LA boxy crew in M/L since that's all they had and it looked awfully silly on me! I don't think an XS/S would be very cute either because it is super wide. Definitely not a petite cut imo.
Nothing for me! I am more picky about what I buy. I am super happy with my get centred hoodie and my scuba 1/2 in black I got last month

    1. Hi Janessa! I didn't think the LA boxy crew would have been petite friendly. It looked very wide on the model. Glad you are happy with your recent purchases. When are you going to get the POCC? I am kind of sad the Merlot sold out in my size! It would have been so nice for fall.

    2. I wanted to get red merlot too but it sold out by the time I wanted to order. I do love the grey sage but I am deciding on a color... I would love a medium/dark grey or a brown color

  4. I wanted to ask you about your Perfectly Oversized Cropped Crew, I am really digging the red merlot color but I’ve had issues with the weird water stains on other items in the same material. What’s your take on this? Have you had any problems with the water stains? And is it true to size? Thanks! :D

    1. Hi Jenny, I think it runs large, I normally wear a size 4 in Lululemon but I like to size down to a 0.

I have my review of Trench here with a lot of pics.

As for the water stains, mine evaporate if it's pure water. I've dripped water on mine all the time with no issues. I do notice the staining occurs when I've got lotion or something else that's not pure water on my hands and get it on the shirt. Then it will stain. But after I throw it in the wash, it comes out perfectly fine and new again. It's not a big deal to me. Maybe it shows up worse on certain colors? I think if it's a darker color, it's more noticeable, if it's a lighter color - not as much?

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
