How is it already Monday again? The weekend went by way too fast for me. I know it's summer and everyone is wearing shorts and tank tops, but somehow I'm still wearing my joggers and hoodies. I guess it's become my "safety blanket" during the pandemic. Especially when I'm just hanging out at home. Plus, J.Crew's cotton-cashmere line has really impressed me so I wanted to try another matching set.
For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size XXS in J.Crew. I'm usually a size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
Ribbed Cotton-Cashmere Hoodie Navy Size XXS
How cute is this set? Some may recall my Heather Gray cotton-cashmere set from a couple of months ago, and I really loved wearing it so much I wanted to get another set in navy. The Ribbed Cotton-Cashmere Hoodie caught my eye. It's an oversized fit which is why I went with size XXS but I also think the XXXS would have worked too. The sleeves are long and very wide, there are no cuffs so I had to roll them up once.
The hoodie is ribbed which adds a bit of texture and lines. The kangaroo pockets are a little thin, I don't think they would be super functional but it adds a nice visual. Besides making a great lounge hoodie, it can also be used as a cover up as well.
These joggers are the same as my heather gray and love the fit. The length is very petite friendly. They measure 27 inches long. My preferred inseam is 26 inches so there is a little extra fabric at the cuffs but I still think it works nicely.

Since this set is cotton-cashmere it is machine washable. I have already washed my heather gray set a couple of times in the delicate setting and used a drying rack. It washes beautifully and I'm definitely a fan of cotton-cashmere since it is still very soft, but not as delicate as pure cashmere. This set is currently on sale too. In the end I really wanted to keep this but I just spent too much on Aviator Nation! I have a review coming up on that haul.

Cute outfit on you! Looks comfortable. I’m interested to see what you got from Aviator Nation and your reviews on it. I wasn’t sold on their Five Striped hoodie but I was curious enough about them that I recently purchased their Bolt Stitch Repeat hoodie in red and did really love that!

DeleteI like the ribbed texture of the hoodie which makes the whole outfit more interesting. The jogger looks so comfy and I love that it’s mid rise. Not liking any of the high rise joggers lululemon is offering lately.

Deletehi Leslie~ Thanks for the fit review! This lounge set looks very comfy! I haven't ordered anything from J. Crew since they closed all the physical stores in Canada. While it's still possible to order online, I hope the chain will reopen some stores when the pandemic is over.
