Fit Review! Sweaty Betty Cool It Hoodie Charcoal Marl

Hope everyone had a nice weekend! This review is long overdue. As you can tell the background is gray, which means these photos were taken over a month ago. Ever since I bought the Sweaty Betty Essentials Sweatshirt, I've been meaning to try their hoodies. I saw the Cool It Hoodie on sale and I decided to pull the trigger.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and I'm wearing size XXS in Sweaty Betty. I also wear a size 4 in Lululemon tops.

Sweaty Betty Cool It Hoodie Charcoal Marl Size XXS
(Currently sold out, but the Essentials Zip Through Hoodie is very similar.)

Also wearing Lululemon Align Crops - (similar print here.)

What really caught my eye with this hoodie is the rose gold zipper. I don't know if you all remember the Lululemon Scuba Hoodie in Heathered Bark Berry with the rose gold zipper? I was so sad when I grew out of it. 😆 Gimme anything rose gold! I'm wearing size XXS and it's still a little bit oversized on me, but I am loving the look of it. So far I've been very pleased with Sweaty Betty's quality. This is my second piece and I'm giving it 4.5 stars. I knocked off half a star because this is hand wash only. 😕

Sleeves are long, but that's always the case with being petite. This is a medium weight hoodie and the fabric is very smooth, almost feels like a neoprene blend. I love the pockets, they're very deep. The length hits at my hip.

I definitely want to try their Essentials Hoodie and Essentials Zip through hoodie next. I picked out a few pieces that are going on my wish list. I do with Sweaty Betty had more color selection like Lululemon though. That may be my only gripe with Sweaty Betty. Thankfully the Essentials line is machine washable. Right now there's a 25% off coupon with code SB1YEAR.

That's it for me! Have a fabulous Monday!

  1. Hi Leslie! I really like the rose gold hardware on this zip-up hoodie and the length is great! I like that the sleeves are not as long as Lululemon's Soft Oversized Zip Hoodie. I usually like neoprene fabrics. It's too bad that this hoodie is not machine washable. If I had this hoodie, I'd be tempted to throw it in a laundry bag and wash on delicate cycle.

    1. I was considering throwing it into a laundry bag and but it on the delicate cycle.... I just hope it doesn't lose the shape. I'll think on it!

  2. Karen said exactly what I was going to say! :D. The hoodie is really cute on you and I love the rose gold hardware which goes well with gray. Also loving the neoprene fabric but “hand wash only” is a deal breaker for me.

    1. Hand wash is a pain! So I totally get it. It's just too cute to pass up. I'll have to consider the delicate cycle... I'll think about it! =D

  4. That jacket is a perfect cut for you! I used to buy SB stuff but then I always liked my LLL more... it always ran oversized. This was before cropped everything was a trend and before they stocked XXS in more than a few items. So maybe I'll try again sometime.

    1. Agree 100% if there wasn't size XXS, I wouldn't bother with Sweaty Betty, I've learned they run large.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
