I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! I like the Diamond Dye Asphalt Gray True Navy align shorts a lot, but want to wait and see if they will release 25" aligns in this pattern.
ReplyDeleteI barely wore my leggings the past year. I've been all about joggers and shorts. I might replace some of my shorts this year. But I am sure those Diamond Dye Aligns would look amazing in a longer length!
DeleteI like the Align shorts in Blue Borealis and the new Diamond Dye, but I am good for now since just I ordered two pairs from WMTM. I really want to get something in Ripened Raspberry though. I am the most interested in the Swiftly tank, but it is sold out in pretty much all sizes. The Non-stop Bomber is really pretty but I am not sure if it will be too much. So nothing for me today.
ReplyDeleteI actually don't have that many pairs of Align Shorts, so I think I should get a few more lol! I definitely wear shorts a lot more over my leggings. The Non-Stop Bomber in the ripened raspberry definitely screams 80s-90s to me. I like the color, but just not sure I can pull that off. Maybe in a tank?

ReplyDeleteI went to my store last weekend and saw (but didn't try on) the pocket Aligns. I prefer F&Fs for that price.
While at the store, I picked up the Surge Jogger for my bf, and he loves them! I need to learn more about the men's line now.

DeleteI'm not sure I would ever use the pockets on Aligns. I barely use the pockets on any of my leggings that do have pockets.
My husband isn't into Lulu- I got him a few shirts - he wasn't into it. Oh well! I tried.... glad you BF loves the Surge Joggers. =)
I would’ve gotten the Align Short 6” in Diamond Dye Asphalt Grey True Navy if I haven’t snagged two pairs of Align Shorts at WMTM last week. They are my favorite these days. I hope the beautiful Diamond Dye Asphalt Grey True Navy comes in Align 21”.

I definitely like the 6" better than the 8". The 8" feels just a tad too long. The 4" feels a tad too short!
DeleteI think the align reversible bra would be a good one to review! I'm interested in it but worry about the white getting sweat stain when wearing the pink side out. I ordered the ripened raspberry scuba half zip due to fomo and I think I like it! Like one your readers, I want to get something in ripened raspberry and the scuba half zip was my excuse....lol
ReplyDeleteI've actually tried that bra, when it was called something else, the name escapes me at the moment... But it's super thin and there's no padding. So you'll see nips, I don't think I'd want to post the photos! But it is true to size if that helps. I ended up returning it. I think it was called Rejuvenate Bra? I didn't find it flattering, especially since I'm pretty flat chested. I took it in a 6 which is the same size I wear in all Lulu bras.

That's good to know! If it's thin, I know I won't like it as nips showing bothers me. Was the previous version reversible as well? I am think I'm most attracted to that feature of the bra.
DeleteIt's double lined, but yes still pretty thin and it made me look very very flat. The previous version was reversible, same exact bra, they just gave it a new name. If they put Align in the name, it will sell better!
DeleteI really like the henley tank and long sleeve but probably will wait for WMTM. I love the Contoured V Neck SS!
