Upload! March 30th 2021

I'm a little disappointed with today's upload. Only one item in grape thistle. I guess maybe I'll just put in my order for the Swiftly Racerback in Prism Stripe Turquoise and call it a day. Nothing else for me this week. What do you think of today's drop? Let me know if there's something you'd like to see a fit review of!

(Wish this was a darker shade of blue like Hawaiian blue...)

(Love this color!)

(These are cute, but they do not work for me.)

  1. Blah upload for me. I’m hoping for some leggings in the stripe prism.

  2. Nothing for me from this upload. I did get F&F 6" shorts and Like a Cloud Bra in black from the store. Love both. Maybe next week will be a good one since it is the first upload of the month. HR HH and Speed Up 4" shorts in pretty spring colors!

    1. This is true. It's usually a big upload at the beginning of the month. Hope we get something good!

  3. I’m curious to see sunset color comparison to other coral colors like bleached coral and even guava pink. The new spruced green is pretty- I wonder if it is a little bluish? I really want to try the ebb to street crop now after your review- hope they come out with more colors!!

  5. Wow - another disappointing week! It has been months and months since I bought and kept something purchased full price.

I did recently fall in love with the Free to be Serene Bra, though. I've avoided it since I'm (barely) an A cup, but it works great in my size down. FTBW doesn't work for me for a lot of reasons, so it is a great, very similar piece. Luckily, I've been able to snag a few from WMTM.

    1. I'm curious, have you tried the In Alignment Bra? I am similar in size and I love that bra so much, but granted it's not really a workout bra, more of an everyday bra for me. I tried the FTB Serene a while back, but. lately the back straps have been irritating me. For workouts I use the Quiet Within Bra, a few Athleta bras and Align Tanks.

    2. I'm a racerback (or similar) gal, so I haven't tried it. I almost pulled the trigger on the Quiet Within Bra (because, cute), but I find thin front straps/bottom bands to be uncomfortable. I'm extremely particular about bras, I know.

    3. Gotcha. Bras are definitely tricky. It's good that you won't settle!

  6. Nothing for me here! Disappointing but not entirely sad that I can save some money... ;)

Athleta hasn’t been uploading anything of much interest to me either, lately. I hope that we’ll be seeing some more exciting things added!

    1. Funny you should mention Athleta, I placed a huge order for their F&F sale and will be reviewing some of the items for tomorrow's post! I bet you already have it though... lol

    2. Haha! Interested to see what you found and liked!!

  7. Disappointing upload but I don't need anymore LLL so the less things I want the better. I'm hoping for some new shorts in a spring summer color

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
