Finally! Lots of new goodies today that are quite tempting. I am loving this grape thistle color! Bring it on please! The Scuba Oversized Full Zip debuted today but I'm not loving how it looks? Maybe if they release this in more colors I might be tempted. So far black and true navy only, which is a little boring for me. What did you order today and is there anything you would like to see a fit review of? Leave me a comment below!

(Wow this is nice looking, wish it worked for me!)

(I really want to try this, but it doesn't look flattering on the model.)

(Ohhhh this is pretty! I love this purple. Fit Review here.)

(Hmmm what do you think of this print? I can't decide if I like it or not.)

(Love this!)

  1. I was looking forward to the oversized full zip too- you’re right about the sleeves. Maybe it’s the photo angle? Are you going to do a review? Maybe it’ll look better on you. Hopefully they’ll have more colors. That blue borealis is very pretty.

    1. Yep I am 99% certain the Oversized Full Zip will be a return, but I'm willing to take one for the team. Loving the blue borealis. That will be hard to resist!

  2. I am disappointed in how OVERSIZED the sleeves of the Scuba Full Zip in Navy look on the tall model. Based on my experience with Scuba 1/2 zip, the cut varies noticeably from color to color. I kept the Rosemary Green because it has the shortest sleeves. The Trench one is 1" longer and wider. I tried on a couple of other colors in the store and the sleeves were all overwhelming. I wish Lulu were more consistent with their sizing. I hope that the Full Zip in Desert Sun has shorter and narrower sleeves. This is definitely a first world problem for petites lol.

    1. That's so interesting that the cut varies by color. I guess it's worth trying out different ones if there is a color that really speaks to you. Good to know, thank you!

  3. I am loving the Grape Thistle color - I just picked up the All It takes Short Sleeve, but I think that I might need the AirWrap Pullover in that shade as well! I am also very intrigued with the Break a Trail 1/2 Zip hoodie. I would love to see a review of that one if you're interested :) I'm wondering how long those sleeves might be on petites...

    1. I will add the Break A Trail 1/2 Zip hoodie into my next order. I do think the sleeves may be really long for us petites! I wish there were more colors to choose from too.

The AirWrap Pullover is sooo tempting in the Grape Thistle!

  4. I ordered the scuba full zip in Navy to try. I have the half zip in trench and I love the color enough to keep (returned the light grey). I first saw the scuba full zip on the HK Lulu site and it piqued my interest. Also ordered the cashlu knit wrap to try...but will only keep it if it looks GD being wore as a short wrap. I think you tried the sit in Lotus in the past and wearing it the short way doesn't look GD from the side or back...so I hope this wrap will be different! I think The break the trail half zip is cute, but the price point seems high?

    1. The Cashlu Knit Wrap is really pretty too! I think this one will work much better than the Lotus Wrap.

I'll place an order for the Break A Trail 1/2 Zip in my next order. Price point is a little high but looks like it's a technical piece with added pockets to the sleeves.

  5. I’m loving Grape Thistle and looking forward to seeing more items in this gorgeous color, maybe a Everywhere Belt Bag!!!

I also would love to see a fit review on the Scuba Oversized Full Zip. Thank you!

Interesting that they are offering a new color in the Beyond the Studio Jacket. It was over four months ago when this style debuted. Too bad it didn’t work for me.

How do you like the Dance Studio Jacket? Do you think it’s a size up item?

    1. Yessss I would love to see Grape Thistle in the EBB! If they do release that I may need another one lol!

I haven't tried on the Dance Studio Jacket in a long time. I only recall that it was pretty tight and the proportions were all wrong for my petite frame. Too long in the torso and sleeves... you're taller than I am so it may work for you. I am leaning towards sizing up from what I recall... but it's been awhile!

    2. Thanks, Leslie! If the Dance Studio Jacket comes out in Grape Thistle or Rhino Grey I’ll give it a try! Not really interested in the colors offered now. :)

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
