Upload! November 17th 2020 - Face Masks and Scuba Plush Hoodies are back!

Alright! Finally we get a Lululemon Face Mask!  I was wondering when these were finally going to be released. I ordered two. One for me, one for the husband to try. Secondly, I also placed an order for Scuba Hoodie Plush in alpine white and chambray. The cranberry is nice but I think a little too orange for me. I'm a little sad they didn't release more colors. A violet verbena would have been amazing. What does everyone think of the Align Gold line? Not sure it's for me. I'll update this post if more items appear.

Let me know what you ordered!

(There are tons of colors. You all know I'm going to try one!)

(I realize like to wear my Align Tanks without the bra inserts because they tend to bunch up at the elastic band when I leave them in. Anyone else have this issue?)

  1. I just placed an order for the Scuba Plush in the Heathered Cranberry color! I typically prefer darker colors so you’ll have to let us know what the white and chambray are like. I have three older year’s Scuba Plush Hoodies and absolutely LOVE them. They might just be my favorite Lululemon items. I’m hoping that the Heathered Cranberry is a keeper for me!

    1. Nice! You'll have to let me know what you think of the cranberry. I prefer darker colors too, I was hoping for some jewel tone colors for this, but I also love chambray. My older Plush Hoodies tend to pill up a bit from the washer, so I'm hoping the lighter colors mask it better?

    2. My Scuba Plush in Heathered Cranberry just got delivered to me, and I’m IN LOVE! It’s a beautiful mix of red, orange and brown and I dig it. Kind of a jewel tone of red and orange. The fit and feel seem to be the same as previous year’s. Interested to see how you like the white and chambray!!

    3. Wow! It sounds awesome. Glad you love it! Maybe if I don't like the white and chambray I'll try the cranberry. I definitely wouldn't like the black. Too boring for me. Mine should arrive tomorrow. I'll try and have pics up for Monday's post.

  2. I ordered a face mask to try. Hopefully it does not mess up my hair lol. I think the Alpine White Scuba Plush Hoodie looks the sharpest. I heard that it fits more relaxed than the regular Scuba. Did you order your TTS?

    1. I went with the size 4 last year and liked the fit. Here's photos for night diver. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the review.

The first year I ordered the size 2, and thought it was a little too snug.

Man the dark chrome was nice! Wish they had that for this year!

    2. I saw my comment from last year. Now I remember returning the black Scuba Plush because of potential pilling and fading issues. I love the dark chrome one from 2018.

    3. Yup that's the one thing about darker colors, they tend to show pilling. I'm hoping the lighter colors will mask the pilling better.

  3. I got a mask as well! If they're good then they'll make great stocking stuffers! I'm tempted by the Scuba Plush hoodie...but I wonder if they will release it in more colours? I was hoping for a dark purple or dark teal... Chambray and Alpine white do look very nice though. Looking forward to your review!

    1. Not sure. In the past couple of years they only release 3-4 colors. Maybe that will change this year?

  4. I grabbed a mask for my hubby to try. I really love the ones from Electric Styles, so none for me.

I also have a pilled Night Diver Plush Scuba—but still love it. The silver detailing really pops and makes it special. This year’s color ways aren’t as beautiful, so I don’t need another. Why are they always heathered, too? I’d love a solid Dark Red with gold piping, a gold zipper, and a gold logo!

Yes, I love gold—but those gold Align pieces aren’t it for me. The disclaimer about the detailing taking on unique wear isn’t cool. That’s a marketer’s way of saying it will show wear. I wish it was actually stitched and not just iron-on style. Cheap.

    1. Yes I have the night diver still and it is kinda pilly especially along the sleeves. But I still wear mine as well and love how cozy it is, which is why I'm willing to get more this year. The only thing with solid colors is the pilling would definitely be apparent. But that said I would love a burgundy red with a rose gold zipper!

I didn't see the disclaimer. Definitely a warning not to buy lol.

  5. Really interested in trying the Scuba Hoodie Plush but not loving the colors. :(. Hope they will be releasing more colors!

The Lululemon masks look nice but I wish they came with ear loops instead of head/neck straps. Can’t wait to read your fit review!

    1. Agreed, the colors aren't great. But I love it so much I hope to add one more to my closet. I'm wearing my night diver from last year right now. It does show pilling though. I think the lighter colors will mask it better. I'm also going to try and wash it on delicate setting and see if that helps.

  6. I got a camo mask to try and also finally the scuba 1/2 zip in that pretty light grey! I hope I like the fit and don't find it too boxy. I am also interested in the scuba plush but I'd like to try it on in store because I don't like the regular scuba hoodie fit that much

  7. Let me know what you think of the Scuba 1/2 zip. I found it too wide and boxy. The Scuba Plush is more relaxed and I prefer it over the regular Scuba Hoodie.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
