Upload! October 13th 2020

Early upload! I'll keep updating if more shows up in the morning/afternoon and will write up thoughts then!

Edit to add: Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian readers! Maybe that's why there's an early upload? Perhaps for Canada, but for the US my thinking for the early upload is due to Amazon Prime Day. Lulu didn't want the competition? I'm not really sure, just a guess! But lots of goodies this week!! I may or may not have ordered another pair of shorts. How many is too many? 😅

My question to you guys, what is more important to you, Lululemon Upload or Amazon Prime Day

(Love the color, but I wear my Hotty Hots more than Align Shorts.)

(I did order this, I'm a sucker for diamond dye!)

(Very pretty!)

(If the right combination pops up, I may have to add these to my growing collection!)

(I think this blue in the soft wash is really nice looking.)

(And what do you know, here they are!)

(This may be the prettiest yoga block I've ever seen!)

(I wish they would bring back the 19" or release more in the 17" for us shorties!)

(Now that I'm working from home this looks so comfortable!)

  1. Have you tried Wunder Train Crop? I only have F&F, WU, and Align leggings, nothing in Everlux. So over the weekend I ordered both size 2 and 4 in Ancient Copper to try. It looks like it is already on WMTM?

    1. I have not tried that one on. I did try Everlux once and did like the fabric. The shortest length it comes in is 21" and usually those still tend to be baggy around my calves, so I've stayed away. Let me know what you think!! I do believe the Ancient Copper is already on WMTM. Which is crazy.

    2. Hey Amherstlulu I have the Wunder Train High-Rise Crop 21" in Diamond Dye Naval Blue and I like it a lot! I must say I still like my Aligns the most but Everlux is softer than Luxtreme and doesn’t pill as bad as Nulu. It does fit a tad tighter than Aligns in my opinion.

  2. I like the Softer Still Wrap in Spiced Bronze or Grey but don’t think I’ll be making a lot of uses out of it. The Scuba Hoodie Light in Heathered Desert Teal is pretty but too bad I already have the hoodie in Jaded. Not interested in anything else.

    1. If I end up getting the Softer Still Wrap I would go for the gray. It just looks so pretty!

    2. Oh please do, it’s so pretty! :)

My Align Jogger 28” in Heathered Black arrived. Fabric is more like Luxtreme instead of the buttery soft Nulu, and like you said it’s slightly thicker than the regular Aligns. While the length is perfect (ankle-length), the higher rise somehow gives me camel toe. Sadly it’s going back.

    3. Oh no! That's really unfortunate. Definitely return it. There will always be something else!

  3. I go the perfectly oversized crew in iron blue. I want the align tank in cassis but I have seven now 0.0 and I feel like they're going to keep releasing colors forever... I REALLY want something in french press! I want the perfectly oversized crew in brown earth but maybe when it's on sale. I wear mine all the time!
Also the WT crops flare out at the ankles and doesn't look as good as aligns. I want iron blue in aligns :D

    1. I also want the WT crops in ancient copper when they restock because I love the color and will deal with the ankles. Some are more fitted than others so I hope this one is one of the more fitted ones.

    2. Oh really, that is interesting about the WT crop ankles. I do want to get a Perfectly Oversized Crew, but waiting for a color I can't pass up. I also heard that the iron blue isn't as soft as other colors, let me know if you find that to be the case or not!

    3. I got the crew yesterday and it felt scratchy at first but after wearing it the inside softened up! My other two POC in porcelain pink and black are also scratchy after being washed but soften up with wear so I wasn't worried. I will say the pink is scratchier than the black but none of the fabrics ever irritated my skin and I have sensitive skin.

    4. Good to know! One of these days I will pick one up. The iron blue really is nice though. Wish the blue cast made it to WMTM, that was my favorite color so far.

  4. WT crops in Ancient Copper arrived today. Size 2 - my legging size - is definitely a better fit than size 4. I love the everlux fabric, maybe even more than nulu? The deal breaker is the flared bottom. Are there leggings made of everlux fit shorties?

    1. Are these the 21" crops? I don't own a pair of everlux... what if you got them hemmed a little higher? Better than nulu?! How is the waist on the WT crops, are they similar to Aligns? I love the Aligns because they have the most comfortable waist.

    2. Yes, they are the 21" crops. The waist is tighter than the Align's. My waist is size 4 and hip is size 2. You are right that Align is more comfortable in the waist area.

    3. TBH, that's mainly the reason I stopped buying other leggings. I stick to Aligns and I have a few other styles that are more for intense workouts but I mainly wear shorts when I workout. The only other legging that I have found to have the same kind of waist as Aligns are Werkshop Athleisure - same comfort if you haven't tried a pair, but they're full length. I don't mind it since I wear them casually.

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
