Hurricane Zeta Update!

Hi guys! Happy Friday. I am just updating from my phone at the moment. Hurricane Zeta knocked out our power. So I’ve got no WiFi. I’m sitting in the dark with my husband and four kits.

I don’t know when I’ll get internet back. Hopefully over the weekend. I was looking on the lululemon app and saw a new color for the Radiant Jacket that I kind of want to try. It looks so pretty in violet verbena.

That’s it for me! Stay safe folks!! See you all soon.

  6. I hope you are all doing okay! Yes, I love all the mauve/violet verbena/lunar rock shades. I'm obsessed. Which is surprising because I'm kind of a sea green/blue-grey soul. Be well!

  8. Hi Leslie, How are you doing? Is your power back yet? I hope all is well with you! I have a question about Athleta tights. I'm thinking about getting Rainier and Elation tights. Do you know if they fit true to size? At 5'2", 25-26" waist and 35" hips, I should get XSP according to the size chart. I just hope to get your opinion because I've never ordered from Athleta before. Thanks so much!

    1. Hi Karen, yes I have power back! Will finish up my post tonight. The Elation Tights should fit true to size, I have tried those on. I would recommend the XSP. I have not tried Rainier tights but Athleta typically fits mostly true to size. Let me know what you think of them!!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
