Upload! March 31st 2020

Can you believe tomorrow is April 1st??? This month of March felt like it lasted a year. Small upload tonight. Nothing I'm really interested in except for the Align Crop Diamond Dye Pitch Graphite Gray. I've added it to my cart. It's an extra $10 though and then add on the tax and it'll be $110. 😒

How is everyone doing? The cats are loving it this and I may bust out a puzzle or two. Maybe even dabble in watercolors again. It's been five years since my last painting. I'm going to be a bit rusty.

(This may or may not be new, but I was looking for this for the past couple of weeks. There was a high rise version of this uploaded but not the regular waist. I'm tempted to order this but it's an extra $10. Worth it?)

(I also like this too.)

  1. I have been ordering too many lulus out of boredom and wanting comfy clothes to lounge around the house. The new define hoodie in diamond dye (the lighter color) is sooo nice, feels smoother and thicker than regular nulu. I am also tempted by the diamond dye align crop. Fortunately there is no tax on clothes in MA. Did the lighter color sell out already? I may pull the trigger.

Thank you for keeping the blog going! It has been a much needed distraction.

    1. Wow good to know about the diamond dye. I wonder if the darker color is just as nice?

I only see the lighter color in the align pant 25" and there's the cross waist 21" on WMTM.

lucky you! I am jealous you have no tax in MA!

  2. I recently purchased the Hooded Define jacket in the diamond dye pitch grey graphite grey and love it! Feels super soft even a little more substantial than some of the other prints, in my opinion. I noticed they got more of the Align Crops in the rejuvenate dark chrome multi and ordered a pair of those too.

I hope you’ll pick up your watercolors! I’m a painter and find it to be quite soothing and a nice break from the stress of life! Enjoy if you do!

    1. Ahhh now I think I will order the hooded define and the aligns to try. I've been itching for something new, probably because of not being able to go out and see things in person the last 3 weeks.

I think I will give it a try with the watercolors. Will report back!

  3. Hi Leslie,
I love my Align Crop Diamond Dye Pitch Graphite Gray. Super comfy and agree that is more substantial than other prints. Worth the extra $10 in my opinion. For the pant version it’s an extra $20.

Still thinking of getting the Hooded Define Jacket in Diamond Dye Pitch Gray and wonder if it fits like the regular Define Jacket. I remember you saying that the Hooded Version fits a bit bigger than regular Define but I wonder if it’s the same for the Diamond Dye print (thicker). I’m in between sizes for Define (need own one though ...) and could use some advice. Thank you.

I personally prefer the darker gray version in the Diamond Dye print cos I’m not a fan of contrasting stitchings for the lighter version. Both colors are pretty though.

Would love to see a painting of yours. I’ve been spending time in front of the easel cos it’s really therapeutic.

    1. Really.... okay I may have to pull the trigger on the Align Crop and Hooded Define. I just looked and I wear a size 4 in regular Define Jackets and they fit perfect. For the Hooded Define I wear a size 6. This runs small. So I would say maybe try the 4. if you're in between the 2 and 4. I'm not a fan of the contrast stitching either so I am going to go for the darker version.

Okay, now I will have to give painting a go!

  4. The diamond dye aligns look so cute. I think it's worth it if you like the pattern! I haven't tried it myself.

  5. I have the lighter version of the diamond dye define hoodie. I hesitated between the two colors because I also dislike contrasting stitching. I am pleasantly surprised that IRL the contrast is not as obvious. I always size up to 6 in define. This version fits similar. I am ordering the align crop next.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Review! Lululemon's Large Everywhere Belt Bag Size Comparison Plus Video!

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I actually have a dentist appointment on Halloween. One of my molars chipped and needs to be filled in. It's a tiny chip that I didn't even notice until my dentist pointed it out to me during my last visit. I'm not looking forward to it at all since I will need local anesthesia. Anyway, today I have a belt bag size comparison review for you all! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
