Fit Review Friday! Roam Far Wool Bomber

Happy Friday everyone! Rent The Runway is now offering Lululemon with their subscription. They do not have a lot of stock, and everything pretty much flew off the website within hours of it launching. I managed to snag the Roam Far Wool Bomber to try.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in Lululemon. For this jacket I'm wearing a size 2.

This jacket is very VERY poofy. I think because I have such a short torso, the goofiness is even more accentuated. I found it to be not flattering around the mid section. It definitely makes me look pregnant. 😂

I'm wearing a size 2 and it fits well in the shoulders and arms. The sleeve length is actually perfect. It's not too long at all, much to my surprise! The glyde fabric is soft and waterproof. It's definitely very warm and meant to be worn in freezing temperatures. It's 80% goose down and 20% goose feather. This jacket is also reversible! On the other side is wool and feels fuzzy and soft but at the same time it also feels a little coarse.

The wool side is also not flattering on my petite frame. I think the black version of this jacket might be a little more forgiving. The bottom half of the jacket just poofs out way too much. That said I'm glad I got to try it on!

It's currently on WMTM for 50% off. It would work better for taller folks. I do think at $149, it's a good price. If you're interested in trying out Rent The Runway, my sister has a referral code- RTRFAM11D1780. This code is $200 off your first two months of Unlimited ($100 off each month).

Speaking of WMTM-

(If I were to get one Roksanda piece, this would be it.)

That's it for me! Hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

  1. The bomber is a big no on you! The pockets look so weird and don’t seem to belong there! Too bad cos sizing is good on you, even the sleeve length lol!

I always look forward to your fit reviews on Friday, and thanks for the great work!

  2. Everything about the jacket was cute on you EXCEPT the POCKETS!! Lol. Thanks for ‘taking one for the team’ and posting the pic. I really like the skirt too.... so flowy and I like the different levels of the hemline. I’m pretty sure it’s not ‘petite friendly’. Happy belated birthday!

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
