Athleta Review! Triumph Printed Hoodie, Cozy Sherpa Reversible Jacket + 30% Off Sale!

Hope everyone had a nice relaxing weekend. I sure needed one badly after the week I had. I went for a mani-pedi at the nail salon near me and got a massage. That was my relaxation time.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops. For Athleta this translates to XXS/XS/PXS depending on the style and fit.

I really liked how this looked on the hanger so I grabbed it to try on. This is a size XS. For hoodies I realize I prefer them to be a little looser fitting these days. I think overall the XS fits well. The camo print is a little large, I think I definitely prefer Lululemon's version of camo.

The sleeves are a little bit long, the one main thing I do not like about this hoodie is how long the sleeve cuffs are. They're also not very soft and flexible. I will say the quality of this hoodie doesn't feel up to par with Scuba Hoodies or Lululemon hoodies in general.

Athleta currently has 30% of select items and the Cozy Sherpa Reversible Jacket is now $89.99. I'm wearing size XS. I'm fairly certain I would have fit into the XXS as well.

It's definitely a boxy loose fitting jacket. The sizing is very generous. This jacket is reversible and I will post photos of both sides. The sherpa on the inside is very cozy. I do wish Athleta chose a better looking zipper. I'm not crazy about the contrast of the silver zipper.

The sherpa side makes me look like a fuzzy teddy bear. And again, not a fan of the zipper. I prefer the sweatshirt side for sure.

It's definitely a very cute jacket and on trend at the moment. However I think my favorite is probably the Tugga Long Sherpa Jacket. I kinda wish I bought it!

It matches my Ugg boots?

That's it for me! Hope you have a fantastic Monday!

  1. There are a lot of weird looking zippers out now. I wish I knew why Athleta decided on the circular zipper thing because I think it looks funny too. The Lululemon All Yours Hoodie has the same zipper and it looks just as weird. I have two of the All Yours Hoodies though so I try not to pay attention to the funky zipper.

    1. Agree 100%. Sometimes the tiniest hardware spoils the overall look of the garment.

    2. Yup, totally agree with Andrea. The little details can really elevate or diminish an outfit!

    3. I still want to try the All Yours Zip Hoodie but it doesn't seem to be at the stores. It looks really comfy.

    4. I got both of mine online. My nearest Lululemon is a 2 hour drive! :D

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
