Fit Review Friday! Athleta Try Ons Tugga Long Sherpa Jacket & Inclination Moto Shimmer Tight in Powervita

This is the last fit review Friday before Christmas! I have more Athleta for you today. I really wanted to see what the Long Tugga Sherpa Jacket looked like on me in the natural color. The store only had the size XS. It's actually really cute, I wish they had the XXS but I'll never find out because it's completely sold out in all sizes and colors. Sherpa really is popular this season.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically size XXS/PXS in Athleta.

I totally look like a marshmallow but in a cute way. It's oversized but somehow it still works. I normally do not like cream/light colors like this but it totally works for sherpa.

The sleeves are too long and the hood is very large which makes me laugh. Overall it's a very cute look! I understand why it's completely sold out. It's super warm and with the freezing temperatures lately, this jacket is perfection. Maybe Athleta will bring it back next year.

Right now Athleta is having a special price on these tights. The Inclination Moto Shimmer Tight in power vita is $88. I naturally gravitated towards the mineral brown color because of the pink undertones.

I'm wearing size XXS and these fit perfectly. The fabric is powervita and I expected it to feel softer, but because of the metallic finish it has a slightly rough surface. The moto ribbing detail above my knees are awkward on my petite legs. I can feel the lines going across above my knee and it was a little annoying. The material is quite thin, and with the light brown color, panty lines are very noticeable. The waist is high and hits just above my belly button. Fit is true to size.

Pretty close to fitting my ankles!

Overall, I did find them flattering, just not the most comfortable. I definitely would have benefited from the petite sizing in this case. The lines above my knees would have been higher. I also really liked the side pockets. They are large enough to fit my iPhone X.

In other news, Lululemon uploaded this cute set. I'm a sucker for anything sparkly and shiny. This hits the spot. Also the Scuba Sherpa Hoodie Long is starting to sell out. It's already sold out in all the small sizes. I didn't order one but if you have, leave me a comment and let me know how you like it!

That's it for me! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Thanks! Next year if sherpa is still in, maybe I'll pick up a longer coat in the cream. =)

  2. The cream color long Sherpa jacket looks so much nicer on you than the black one, but still it’s one size too big. The sleeves are ridiculously long! Looks like you’re still on the hunt for a perfect Sherpa jacket LOL!

    Merry Christmas, Leslie!

    1. Merry Christmas Andrea!

I have the short version of this jacket... wouldn't mind a longer one for the cold cold days, but so far the short one is working out fine!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
