Upload! November 19th 2019

The first major holiday drop is here and this is the first time in a long time that I placed an order right away. It's a semi big order too. Will hopefully have some reviews up after I return from my New York trip. I always go visit my family every Thanksgiving.

This upload has a lot of velvet. Here's the thing, I was really into Juicy Couture back in 2005. I had like a dozen tracksuits, one in every color. I even had a green one and I never go for green. So to see the velvet tracksuit come back again, I have to say I think Juicy Couture did it better. Even so I placed an order for the Define Hooded Jacket to try. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. I did wear all of the tracksuits to death! When they went out of style, they were still so comfy I ended up using the bottoms as pajamas.

Also a lot of cashmere. I love cashmere. If I won the lotto I would be ordering it all up. But in the meantime I'll have to placate myself with the Scuba Hoodie Cashlu

So what did you think of tonight's upload? Did you order anything? And what's up with all the crop tops?

(Mine!! I loved last year's dark adobe so much I bought night diver.)

(I ordered the spanish oak to try.)

(I ordered this to try in the gray and night diver.)

(If I had $300 lying around, I would get this.)

  1. I’m with you on the Juicy Couture tracksuits, I had quite a few of them which I wore to death and used the pants as sleepwear! I just purchased the Athleta double cozy karma hoodie in red and black version and really like both. I have the Scuba hoodie plush in the dark adobe and black too and they both have gotten a lot of wear from me. I like the new night diver color. Interested to see what you think about the Lululemon Define in velvet!

    1. I tried the Athleta hoodie too! I ordered it in the gray and wasn't crazy about how it looked on me, but it is very comfortable. The sleeves were very baggy too. I returned it.I think you will love the night diver color. I've been eyeing that color for months but never purchased anything until last night!

  2. Interested in getting the Scuba Hoodie Plush Heathered in beautiful Night Diver but I really don’t need another hoodie ... Do they have the same fit as the regular version?

Lulu never adjusted downward the price of Align Cross Waist Crop 21” so it’s a pass for me. :(

    1. It's pretty much the same fit, but the band at the hem is not as stretchy. You may not have that problem since I have bigger hips if I recall, so it feels tight for me. I actually went up this time to a size 4 because of that. I agree I don't need another hoodie either, but I'm such a sucker for luxe items!

That's too bad about the Aligns... maybe you can snag it on WMTM.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
