Upload! October 1st 2019

Happy October! I finally received the Sincerely Sherpa Wrap in black and I'm sad to report that I will be returning it. I didn't think it felt very soft. I was hoping it would be soft enough for me to wear with just a short sleeve tee underneath, but this is one of those pieces where my arms would have to be completely covered to avoid the itchy wool. The size XS was also very big. I would recommend sizing down in this one if you would like to give it a try.

In other news I really want the Still Lotus Wrap in silver lilac and heathered black! Anything for you from tonight's upload?

(Looking at all these new down coats makes me glad I live in a climate with mild winters.)

(These look really nice and I bet they're very soft but I don't think I could pull it off.)

(I think these are really cool, will pick them up if I see them on WMTM.)

(Love this color.)

  1. I'm also wondering if I need to size down to XXS; I'm 5'6 and 110. They have new colours today, I'd like the beige.

    1. I would size down- the XS was soooo big. Wasn't flattering on me at all.

  2. I like the Still in Lotus Reversible sweater but I got the Sit in Lotus(?) sweater years ago and it shrunk in the wash so I'm iffy on their sweaters... I do like the wraps and the Broken Beats hoodie though I don't need any more hoodies!

    1. Oh really. I wonder if they made any changes, this one says it's made of yak? What is that anyway.... I'm still tempted to order and see them in person.

  3. I also received my sherpa wrap in XS. I agree that it is too boxy and wool feels itchy. I tried XXS in the store, fit is better but still not great. On the other hand, I really like the fit of dare to drape LS in ivory. It is pretty thin though. I am on the fence since I am pretty sure that it will go to WMTM as the weather gets colder.

    1. I think there's a good chance both items will make it to WMTM. I would wait it out.

  5. I don’t like collarless wraps (I hope you know what I mean) or else I would’ve got the Still in Lotus Reversible Wrap.

Really interested in the Cloudscape Waterproof Wrap but it would probably reach my ankle lol! The Purple Taupe color is gorgeous. Here in Toronto we do need a nice warm long down jacket but the wrap is kind of pricey.

I was thinking of returning the Sincererly Sherpa Wrap but my husband loves it on me. The slightly itchy wool doesn’t bother me as much as the hand washing part. Still on the fence ..

I really love my Dare to Drape Tops! Wish the Light Ivory color came in size XXS. Since Lulu probably don’t stock up too much size XXS, I don’t wanna take a risk waiting for them to go to WMTM. I’m happy with my purchase.

    1. I totally get it, the collarless part. I like the drapey look it has which kind of makes up for it.

The Exaltation Wrap just hit WMTM. I might spring for that!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
