Fit Review! Birdies The Starling Latte Suede

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. The Short Sweet and Sherpa Jacket arrived. I ordered both XXS and XS to try. The XXS was TOO short. Even on me and I have a fairly short torso. The XS fit better in terms of length and body, but the arms were way too poofy. I hope to have photos up soon to show both sizes. Since neither size is perfect, I'll be returning both. I don't think the full price is worth it, but if I see it on WMTM I might spring for the XS. I did like how warm and cozy it is and it is reversible. I actually liked how both sides looked. It's like two jackets in one. That said it's been super rainy and gloomy which is why I am unable to take photos today. That is why we have a review of Birdies in The Starling instead.

I am always a sucker for nice packaging and right off the bat, the box these shoes came in definitely caught my attention. These are not the kind of shoe boxes I would want to throw away. They're just too pretty. These shoes also come with a very nice linen dustbag.

I went with the latte suede color, because it's a great neutral and easy to match. You can wear it with jeans or dress these up for the office. I've always wanted a pair of suede loafers. The quality on these shoes are excellent. The suede is very soft. The footbed is interesting. They're quilted foam pads that almost feel like you're walking on bubble wrap. The comfort level of these are 100% like you're walking on clouds. They really feel like slippers!

Rubber sole.

Fit- I purchased these in a size 5. For reference in Allbirds Tree Breezers I fit a 5.5. Rothys The Point I fit a size 5. However size 5 in The Starling is too big for me. The heel kept slipping off. I would need a half size smaller and unfortunately size 5 is the smallest these come in. If these had fit, I would have kept them. I would recommend these, I wish they fit me!

Does anyone have any recommendations for something similar that comes in small sizes? Thanks in advance!! That's it for me. Have a great Monday!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
