Fit Review Friday! Dash Into Dusk Jacket & At My Leisure Jogger

Happy Friday! Someone requested the Dash Into Dusk Jacket for review and here it is. The fit is true to size. I'm wearing my usual size 4.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

The length and body is a perfect fit for petites. The sleeves are a bit long but that's normal for me. The back of the jacket has the word Lululemon running up the spine and all the way up the hood as well. It is very subtle and is what makes the jacket reflective. If you are looking to layer, I would recommend sizing up.

The fabric is Full On Luxtreme. It's a thin jacket, not much for warmth but would make a nice spring jacket for running. This is a basic jacket and not really something I'm looking for so it's a return for me.

I was curious to see if the At My Leisure Jogger was petite friendly at 25 inches in length, but sadly it is not. I should have known!

Heathered Mid Misty Merlot Size 4

The fabric is Modal French Terry which is super soft. I did love the color as well. The waist is elastic and has a drawstring to cinch it in. I wasn't crazy about all the seams going on. I know it's supposed to lengthen your legs but it just looks like balloon pants to me with how wide the legs are. Easy pass. You definitely need to be tall to pull this look off.

In other news I placed a small Athleta order. Their Sculptek Jean in carbon wash is on sale right now. I ordered one to try and I also have the Nirvana Two Ways Wrap coming. That's it for me, I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend and Happy Easter to those who celebrate!

  1. What a sleek nice looking jacket but I agree far too basic. The joggers do look too enormous to be slimming or lengthening.

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
