Fit Review Friday! Zoned In Tight & Timeless Classic Tank

Happy Friday everyone! No upload tonight, so we're back to our regular schedule of Fit Review Friday. 😀 I'm still dying to order the Scuba Hoodie Plush, but I'm forcing myself to wait until I get my order on Saturday. Crossing my fingers my size doesn't sell out. The reviews I'm seeing so far are amazing. I'm trying to decide between dark adobe and dark chrome.

Today I have for you a review of the Timeless Classic Tank and the Zoned In Tight.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in tops and bottoms.

Timeless Classic Tank Antique Bark Size 2

I ordered a size 2 in the Timeless Classic Tank thinking it was a size down item because it looked loose on the model. However, I would say if you want the same look as the model order your normal size. I ended up returning the size 2 and reordering in a size 4. It's perfect. But for this review, I'm wearing the size 2.

The size 2 looks fine and it felt fine. It didn't feel tight or uncomfortable. If you prefer a more fitted look,  size down. This top is definitely petite friendly and hits at the hip. The fabric is thin and semi sheer if you look closely. I love the color of this tank in antique bark. It's a soft pretty mauve.

I do think you can wear this tank to work, which is one of the reasons why I love this tank so much. I think this is very office friendly if you wear it tucked in and throw a blazer over it. 😎

Next up, we have the Zoned In Tight. These are 27 inches in length which I knew would be too long on me. My inseam is a 26 inches but if I want them to hit at my ankle bone I need a 24 inch length.

Zoned In Tight Moonphase Size 4

I ordered these in my normal size 4 and I would say they are true to size. These are compression tights and made for running. I'm not a fan of how compression tights feel, so these are not something I would keep for myself. That said I could appreciate how smooth the fabric felt and once you have them on they stay put.

I did find the waistband to be uncomfortable but it's also probably due to all the holiday eating. I've put on some fluff. 😟

These passed the bend test!

I thought the moonphase color was darker in person than on the website. All of the details kind of get lost in the dark purple. If you're petite like me, the reflective detail at the ankle gets hidden underneath all the extra fabric. For $148 I would not keep them unless the fit was absolutely perfect.

In other news, I wore the Time To Thrive Jacket (on sale) underneath my Pack It Down Jacket and love it! I get so many compliments on the Pack It Down Jacket in mauve stone. It's super cold lately and I've been wearing it a lot. Definitely one of my favorite purchases this year!

Also wearing Allbirds
Wunder Under Tight Herringbone (old)

That's all for me! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

  2. Thanks for the reviews! My Transformation wraps arrived (finally). I’m the one that sized down to a 2 (normally a 6 in Scubas and a 4 in swiftlies). Glad I sized down, fits perfect. The nocturnal teal is going back, too close to black. Keeping the grey. Now debating ordering the So Sherpa jacket, can’t decide between black or grey.. and the Sit in Lotus in angel wing. Skipping the coast wrap because someone mentioned it was thin, and looks too loose around neck to stay warm.

    1. Oh wow, I guess it's a good thing I also sized down to a 2. I ended up going with dark adobe. Hopefully it won't be too big on me. I heard the So Sherpa jacket is itchy, just FYI in case you didn't know.
My order should arrive tomorrow! I'm pretty excited, although I'm itching to place another one already. =T

  3. I went ahead and ordered the black So Sherpa and the black evolution leg warmers. Too late to cancel... I guess I'll see if its itchy when I get it and send it back if it is. I'm looking for an alternative to wearing an actual coat for the warmer parts of the winter here in Ontario Canada. I hope it works out!

    1. Let me know what you think when you get it. I have one Sherpa jacket from a couple of years ago. Called Cozy Up Buttercup. Pretty warm for what it was. It got me through Boston winters which are bad but not as bad as Canada.

  4. Get both Scuba plush hoodies in dark chrome heathered iris and dark adobe. Only because i have the camo incognito camo multi grey black hoodie i may try the dark chrome contrast better with darker pants.

We tried HelloFresh for the past two months - Here's our review

Hi everyone! This post is written by my husband. Some of you may know he does all the cooking around here. 😅 We noticed we were spending a lot of money on food and eating out every month and wanted to see if a meal kit service would save us money and time. After looking at a few meal kit services we settled on HelloFresh. Without further ado, here's Jared's review. (Original post date Aug 2022). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have seen from Leslie's Instagram stories for the past 2 months, we've been using HelloFresh for most of our meals. The main drivers for this were to better track what we eat and because on the advice of my doctor, I should be eating more home cooked meals. Before I go any further, it should be noted that my original career path was in culinary arts, but twists and turns in life changed that. So I do have formal cooking experience. A little background story. Over the years, I've developed

Happy May! Can't believe summer is right around the corner. I'm looking forward to visiting my family later this month. It's been nearly a year since I've been back to NYC.
