Scarlett & Lee

This is my first wedding since moving to Atlanta. The wedding took place at Simply Southern Barn out near Lake Sinclair. The venue was very cute. It was fully air conditioned, thank god because it was very very hot today. I don't know how Lee survived the outdoor photos wearing that suit!

Oh, we stopped by McDonald's before our drive there. I had to have an egg McMuffin for breakfast. 😜

I busted out  my McQueen Manta Ray clutch. Old YSL Arty Ring and my favorite Valentino Rockstud kitten heels. I almost never dress up anymore but I do think I clean up nicely.

This dress I'm wearing is a super old Anthropologie dress that I love. It's actually a tunic, but since I'm so short, I can wear it as a dress! The flying squirrel sleeves are my favorite part of the dress. 😂

I get sad when I have to walk in gravel in these gorgeous shoes. These shoes are my favorite pair. For one thing, the heel is low 2.5 inches so these are very walkable. They're expensive, but if you're only going to buy one designer shoe, this is the one to get. I've had these for years and they're my go to whenever I dress up.

Congratulations to the happily married couple! You two are so beautiful. I am absolutely honored to have witnessed your ceremony today.

  1. Thanks for sharing the lovely pictures! The last wedding I attended was my sister‘s back in 2011. It’s been a long while! :)

Your dress is so cute and goes well with those adorable shoes! I hope you didn’t steal the show lol!

I’m not a floral person and my wardrobe is kind of monotone - blacks, greys, whites, and a few purple pieces. I admire people who look amazing in bold patterns and colors.

I’m hoping my friend’s daughter will get married in a year or two. You made me wanna go to a wedding!

    1. I've been going to a lot of weddings lately. I'm at the age where friends and cousins are getting married left and right!

Thank you for your kind words! The bride is stunning. She is so pretty and reminds me of Olivia Wilde.

I try to have fun with outfits. But most of the time I'm either in gym clothes or my pajamas, truth be told!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
