Upload! June 10th 2018

This is going to be a short post. My husband and I went to see Erasure tonight at the Tabernacle theatre. It was our first time at this venue and did not know how small the seats were going to be! I'm not even 5 feet tall and I had no leg room so you can imagine how uncomfortable it was for my husband! Other than that, the show was a lot of fun. They did a bunch of hits from the 80s and 90s and started the show with Oh L'Amour.

We got home pretty late so I'm only going to post the things I'm interested in tonight's upload. I may put in a small order. I have to go to sleep so I'll decide tomorrow!

(If this ends up on WMTM I'll probably get it)

(I think this is a pretty print. I may get this)

(Definitely throw back to when I was in high school!)

(I wish I was taller so I could pull these off. I know they will just make me look like a kid)

(I think these are pretty for summer)

  1. I finally got a pair of aligns (managed to snag a pair of 19" crops, black for about 35 bucks!) and am totally in love with them!!! Considering replacing a lot of my WUCs...

    1. Ahhh about time Sarah! I never buy anymore WUC for that reason and sold all except for one pair. The 19" ones are really perfect for petites. The 21" crop is not as good, they are loose around the calves, my pet peeve.

  2. Groove Pants used to be my favorite and I had high hopes for the Throw Back Pant, only to be really disappointed. The knees are way too tight and the bottom too flare. The fitting is just off, at least for me.

I love my Aligns too and they are buttery soft. Never thought of getting them because of the bad reviews on pilling, but my friend kept talking about how amazing her Aligns were so I pulled the trigger. Mine are pretty new and I haven’t noticed any pilling yet. They are patterned ones so hopefully won’t show too bad even if they pill.

Nothing for me and the upload is kind of disappointing. I was hoping for a light running jacket, Festival Bags in new colors/patterns and maybe some lightweight vinyasa scarves.

    1. I ended up only getting the new print in the FTBW bra. I seem to be constantly running out of those. I also decided I wanted new jeans so ordered a few to try from Athleta. I'm kind of excited!

If Align Crops were to come back in the 19" length I would order some more, but I'm too lazy to get the 21" crops hemmed. So no more Align crops for me. But I have 5 pairs so maybe there's really no need for more anyway!

  3. Saw the Get Going Pant in the store today. They didn’t have size 2 in stock and size 4 is like ankle length on me lol! Too much fabric for my tiny frame and Ultralight Swift fabric is not as light as I expected. Not for petite ladies I’m sure.

My store surprisingly has City Trek Trousers in full size range. I tried size 2 on and found the fabric too stiff. The On the Fly Pant is way more flattering (I have three pairs and am thinking of getting the fourth pair, loving that you can dress them up or down) Reviews for City Trek Trousers are not bad and I guess it will look nicer on tall ladies.

Was thinking of getting the Love Crew but forgot to check it out at the store. Not sure if the fabric would be too delicate,

    1. Thanks for your quick review of your store try ons! Sounds like it wasn't a successful trip at all. I haven't tried the Love Crew either. If you do let me know your thoughts! I just posted about my latests purchases. Waiting for it all to come in the mail and will have some reviews up soon.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
