Update- Crazy Cat Lady's House!

I've become the crazy cat lady

We've had the kittens now for about three months. Simi is no longer a kitten. She's the size of a regular cat. She weighs more than Nero now. I actually think she's getting a bit too thick.

This is the look she gave me when I told her she is going on a diet:

If looks could kill...

She's getting so big she can no longer sit on the window sill without falling off. Seriously, look at that leg:

After googling "how to put a cat on a diet in a multi-cat household", I discovered something called puzzle feeders. I found a bunch on Amazon and ordered three to try. No more free feeding! She's going on a diet starting tomorrow. All three will now have to work for their food.

My husband also ordered this window bed for Simi, but she rarely uses it. We find Flash or Ash occupying it mostly. I think Simi is just not used to it yet. It's been a couple of weeks since we got it and she's still on the window sill.

Ash is getting bigger also. He has the most distinct meow. It's seriously the cutest meow I've ever heard. His eyes are also super yellow, whereas Nero's is more green/yellow.

Nero still dislikes all three of them. I think maybe he likes Simi the most out of the three kittens, but for now he mostly ignores them and when one gets too close he will hiss. I can imagine him saying, "I'm too old for this! Leave me alone!"

I'm still King of the House!

I'll keep you posted if the puzzle feeders work or not. We also ordered a cat condo. It's not a super big one, but it looks really nice from the photos online. My husband still has to put it together though. I guess that will be his project for this weekend!

That's it for me! Happy Friday!

    1. I can't decide who is the cutest. Some days I think it's Flash, other times it's Ash because of how he likes to clean Flash. But then Simi is such a sweet girl with her polite meows.

  4. They are all so beautiful! Simi seems to have a larger frame rather than being overweight but any excuse for an exciting new toy :-) My oldest cat felt the same when I adopted 2 kittens. 6 years later and they're still not best friends but they all tolerate each other, hope your 4 cat house will reach harmony soon!

    1. Hah! Simi is big boned! I like that. Nero being 19 years old, I don't know how many years he has left, hopefully a few more and we have come to accept that he may never fully like any of them. We'll take what we can get. =)

  5. What a busy household lol! Love the window bed and it’s funny how we won’t hesitate spending money on our furry babies but would think twice before getting something for ourselves! My Westie has 5 beds and his own mini fan! :)

Simi is such a pretty girl and she just need to shed a couple pounds I guess. :D Ash has the most beautiful eye color and he’s definitely grown bigger. It’s great that they are getting along so well. I believe Nero doesn’t mind having company in the house, as long as the kittens don’t bother him!

Please post regular updates of your precious little guys. They make me smile. :)

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
