Fit Review! Athleta Stellar Blazer & Stellar Crop

Happy Friday everyone! I've been curious about the Stellar Blazer ever since I saw it on Athleta's website about a year ago. Never pulled the trigger on it because of the price. A couple of weeks ago there was a 20% off coupon and I had some reward money to use so I finally ordered it along with the Stellar Crop Pant. Here's my review.

For reference I am 4 feet 11 inches and typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon Define Jacket and size 4 in Lululemon bottoms. This translates to a size PXS in Athleta tops and bottoms.

My first reaction after putting on the Steller Blazer was how comfortable it felt. It's semi fitted with no restrictions in the shoulders. This is always a plus for me. I hate tugging and pulling at my clothes all day. Comfortable clothing is a must for me, especially at the office.

The length of the Stellar Blazer covers the bum which is perfect, especially if I'm going to wear this piece to work. The length of the sleeves are still too long on me even in the petite size and I have to cuff them. This jacket runs large. I think I could have fit a PXXS if it were available in that size. The back of the jacket does look a little big, but big in the cool oversized look that is popular right now.

I do really like the fabric. It feels like neoprene, very smooth and almost rubbery, but slick. The light weight fabric will keep you cooler in the summer months. It also works as a nice layer for air conditioned office space. I love the little cut out design instead of a traditional lapel. I wish the front pockets of the blazer were a little deeper so that my iphone X could fit in it. The pockets are actually quite shallow and if you try to put your phone in there it will easily fall out. The good thing is the pockets have zippers, so that helps. But getting your iphone X in there is quite a challenge.

Shallow zipper pocket

Next up, Stellar Crop Pant. The length is perfect for us petite gals. It's got a cute little notch detail at the hem that highlights your footwear. I'm wearing a size PXS.

Stellar Crop Pant Size PXS

The PXS is very fitted on me. The description says semi fitted, but for me this size fits like a glove. The waistband is hi-rise, it hits right at my belly button. The one thing I need to stress about this pair of pants, is that it is a pull up pant. It has no zippers. You have to pull it up like a pair of leggings. I'm not usually a fan of this for work so I'm not 100% sure I will keep these yet. They look amazing on me but functionality I'm not thrilled with it being a pull up kind of pant.

Similar to the jacket, the fabric feels smooth and light weight. There is a lot of stretch to the fabric which is nice. Pulling them up at first they do feel kind of tight, but after a few minutes, it felt perfectly fine. You do have to kind of maneuver your underthings a bit to get things to sit right. Sorry if that's TMI! On the other hand, they do look fantastic!

I'm not usually crazy about seams on my pants, but these worked on my petite legs. The seams draw the eyes down and actually makes my legs look a little longer than usual. Another plus is they are quite fitted all the way including my calves.

Here are a couple of photos of how I would dress for work. Also modeling my Balenciaga City. I actually really love this outfit I put together.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Review! Lululemon's Large Everywhere Belt Bag Size Comparison Plus Video!

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I actually have a dentist appointment on Halloween. One of my molars chipped and needs to be filled in. It's a tiny chip that I didn't even notice until my dentist pointed it out to me during my last visit. I'm not looking forward to it at all since I will need local anesthesia. Anyway, today I have a belt bag size comparison review for you all! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
