My birthday present to myself!

I am officially 37 years old. How am I this old?! I'm closing in on 40 in a few years and that is down right kinda scary. I was pretty depressed when I turned 30 and I wonder if I will feel the same way when I turn 40. I'm a pretty happy person in general, but thinking about getting older can sometimes set off a panic attack.

This is supposed to be a happy post! Moving on... so I am an online shopper junkie. I'll visit my usual websites every week and that's usually Lululemon, Neiman Marcus, Fashionphile just to name a few. I was looking up Coach 1941 bags on Neiman Marcus to check out the new Keith Haring limited edition pieces and saw this Rexy Dylan bag on sale. I know it's a return because these bags sold out back in December.

The size of the bag is very similar to my J.Crew signet bag. The Dylan bag is slightly wider at the base but other than that, the dimensions are nearly identical. I absolutely love how the leather looks burnt around the edges of the bag. I think it's a really nice detail.

This is me dressed down over the weekend doing errands. Sneakers- check, sweatpants- check, Down For A Run Jacket- check. The bag is a burnt orange with a hint of marigold that reminds me of sunnier days. It brought a bit of happiness to an otherwise cloudy and rainy weekend. Which of course meant I didn't get to do a photoshoot again.

I also really love the strap!

My husband got me some new fitness equipment! A new bench and a medicine ball. I really didn't know what weight to start with since I wasn't sure exactly what kind of exercises I would be doing with the medicine ball, but so far the 6 lbs is fine. If I really like it I'll get a second one that's heavier. I'm pretty excited about the bench too!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
