Review- Go Lightly Backpack Mesh Mini Jaded

A few months ago, I ordered the regular sized Go Lightly Backpack and returned it after seeing it was too big for my small frame. When a mini version came out, it looked super cute on the model so I wanted to give it try. The size of this bag is 13.5 inches high, 9 inches wide and 5 inches deep. From the side, the backpack looks small, especially when it isn't stuffed full with things. From the back however, it still looks like a regular sized backpack on me. (For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.)

The outside of the bag is entirely mesh and overall a very lightweight bag. There is a two way zipper and inside there's a pocket to hold a water bottle. I use S'well bottles and was pretty excited about this. However, the opening is very tight with not a lot of stretch to it. I actually had a hard time slipping my regular size (17oz bottle) in it. But once I did manage to slip the bottle in, the fit was perfect.

The bag is very well made. The bottom of the bag is lined with a faux leather material that is pliable but seems like it would also be durable. The bottom of the bag also has a zipper that opens up to a large pocket to stow a pair of sneakers.

The straps are adjustable and as you can see here, I have it set to the shortest length possible. The bag also has a hidden pocket to hold your cell phone or wallet.

Overall, it's a very well made bag but I decided to return it since it wasn't as small as I thought it would be and I already have a couple of other backpacks around the same size so I didn't need another. If it were maybe 2/3 of the size I may have kept it. I'm on the smaller end of the height spectrum so it just doesn't seem "mini" to me at all.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...
