Fit Review! Lululemon Chase Me Onesie - Jaded

Chase Me Onesie Size 2 Jaded

I honestly did not have high expectations for this romper because of my petite frame. I expected this romper not to fit me at all because of my short torso, but much to my surprise the size 2 fit very nicely! I heard some say this is a size up item, but for me I actually fit a size down.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically wear a size 4 in tops and bottoms. In this case, the size 2 fit me almost perfectly.

Also wearing a Free To Be Wild Bra

Believe it or not but this is the first romper I've ever purchased. I've always kind of brushed off rompers because of how bothersome it is to go to the bathroom. My friend gave me this advice, "Just don't wait too long to go." Trust me, I will take this to heart whenever I go out in this romper. My other friend told me it is a pain because you have to hold the top while you go and make sure nothing touches anything. 😂 Oh the things we do to look cute.

The top fits me a little bit loose, but nothing to really complain about. I think the criss cross straps make it very easy to slip on and off. I have yet to wear it out so I can't say how it is going to the bathroom just yet. The shorts have a built in liner. The waist is elastic and sits underneath my belly button.  The butt fits me perfectly. Although if it were any smaller, I probably would have had to size up to a 4. The shorts have a side slit detail that is very flattering. It's hard to tell in these photos, but the shorts also have reflective detail at the bottom of the front hem.

The fabric is Swift Ultra Light, super thin and light weight material. The front has a very slight drape and not too many folds at the waist, which was one of the things I was worried about due to my short torso. I couldn't be happier with how this romper fits. The back of the romper does flare out a bit as you can see. The back shows more skin than the model on the website.  And yes, that is a Cure tattoo for all the Cure fans out there. 😁 I got it when I was 21 years old. The Cure are my favorite band ever!

Verdict? I'm keeping this. I'm actually pretty excited to try this out. I will wear this out casually on super hot days, and I'll also use it for my runs as well! For those who also purchased this romper, what are your thoughts on it? Would love to know!

  1. Love it on you!! This romper is actually really easy to use the bathroom in - you just shrug and drop hehe. Ones where you have to unzip the side and undo a latch behind the neck are a PITA. I'd love to hear how it does on a run please!

  3. I tried on my regular size 4... the bottoms fit perfectly (no diaper butt!), but the top is quite loose. I love the look of it though-- it's also my first onsie! Still debating on what to do.. I'm afraid a size down might be too tight across my hips.

    1. I would definitely try the size down just to see. You never know, it might still fit?

  4. I was shocked. I tried it on in store today and ended up buying it in black. I really am debating the jaded and wish I had just gotten it. I am a 6 on top, a
4 on bottom and ended up with the 4. It just looked sloppy in the larger size but comfy!

    1. I'm going to test it out tomorrow when I go for my run, depending on how much I like it, I miiiiight pick up the black one as well. It's a tough call between the two colors.

  5. I bought this and love it also! It's my 3rd Lulu onesie and I get compliments whenever I wear the other two. I only wear them casually - like the running skirts - preferring to run in shorts/tanks, etc. Even my boyfriend, who dislikes rompers of any kind, admitted that he liked it! I also couldn't imagine sizing up especially the top does run a bit bigger. My TTS 2 fit perfect on the bottom, a tiny bit bigger on top but not enough to be bothersome.

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...
