Fit Review Friday! Athleta High Rise Powerful Gleam Tight & High Rise Serpent Chaturanga Tight

As much as I love colorful prints, every girl needs a pair of black leggings. As a general rule if I'm buying black leggings, I try and stay away from solid black leggings. A nice textural print like the one Athleta has right now is totally cool, at least in my book. It gives it a slight edge that can easily transition from workout to street wear. Pair if with knee high boots or a pair of booties and you're good to go.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms and size PXS in Athleta bottoms.

Even though these are high rise, I find them to be very comfortable and sit right under my belly button. I've already worn these a bunch of times to workout and to wear casually and they really go with anything.

I think these are super figure flattering and the length fits my petite frame so well.  They have just the right amount of slouch that makes them look really good.

These are opaque on me through the bend test. I find them to be very slightly compressive, so they're very comfortable to wear. I highly recommend these!

Next up we have the Powerful Gleam Tights. Ever since I returned the Alo Yoga Moto Leggings which you can read my review of them here, I've been on the search for a similar pair that would fit my petite legs. I have finally found them!

The seams do not cut across my knee which is why I returned the Alo Yoga pair. The last seam sits a good inch above my knee, so these are very petite friendly.

These photos show the mesh and side panels on the legs. I think it does work well with the style.  This is definitely more street wear than anything else. I don't think I would workout in these? But maybe!

These are also high rise, but they sit right underneath my belly button. Also super comfortable and opaque during the bend test.

The length is fine on my short inseam. The inseam is 25.5 inches and no bagginess around the ankles either.

I'm happy to report I ended up keeping both pairs and have worn them a few times already. Definitely recommend the petite sizing from Athleta. If you're new to Athleta you can receive $15 off your first order with my referral link.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

    1. I'm doing really well on my ban! And only 3 more days. This is by far the easiest ban I've had in many years. I think I may try another ban later this year around June or July. It depends if I really end up dropping Lulu and shopping elsewhere.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
