Guest Review Athleta High Rise Quest Chaturanga Capri, Colorblock Revelation Tight

I want to thank Sarah for sending an email with her review of her latest Athleta haul.  I actually really like the Colorblock Revelation Tight and want a pair for myself.  I'm sad the petite sizes are sold out!    I'm tempted to order in the regular XS just to see.  Thanks again Sarah!

"Hi Leslie!

happy new year ðŸ˜Š

My Athleta order just arrived so I thought I'd share with you ðŸ˜Š

I got the high rise quest chats capris in iron blue and purple drama.

Left to right: High Rise Quest Chaturanga Capri and Black Quest Chaturanga Capri

Compared to my black quests, these are longer and the fabric is smoother and more compressive. I really like the change. I have included a picture of the fabric content and it's the same but the two new pairs feel more substantial, not sure why!

I have also included a comparison to the high rise knickers so you can see the difference in length.

The last picture is of the Revelation Tights in colour block black heather size S petite. I am in love so far ðŸ˜Š they fit perfectly. These are still available on sale in regular sizes.

All pairs shown are size small and are opaque in a deep bend."

  1. Hi! I'm 5'2" 107 lbs, and normally wear size 4 in lululemon. I'm looking at the athleta stripes chaturanga capris.. any idea what size I would be? Debating btw xxs and xs. I've never tried athleta before, but this print reminds me of lulu's parallel stripe. Thanks!

    1. Hi there, I think you would be XS, because that's what I would go with and I'm also a size 4 in Lululemon. I can technically fit into a size XXS in Athleta, but I find it too tight to move around comfortably. Hope that helps!

    2. I ending up finding a store and picking up them in an xs! They didn't have xxs in the stripes, but I tried on a black xxs pair and they were horribly sheer on me. The xs are a little big (some wrinkles in the back of legs and around knees) but they are super cute and came home with me. Just found out about athleta's awesome return policy too!

    3. Athleta's return policy is truly amazing. I haven't yet returned anything of theirs, I've been pretty happy with my purchases. Glad you found something from them!

    4. Awesome 😊 I practiced (2 hours of sweaty Astanga) in the revelation tights and they are a dream 😊 didn't have to adjust them once! They also dried super fast. I ❤ Athleta!

  2. I'm a 6 in Lulu bottoms and I find Athleta S to be a comfortable TTS 😉

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
