Just wanted to share a few photos of my Werkshop loot. I know I've posted about Werkshop a lot, but I just love there colorful and playful designs. It really brings me happiness every time I wear one of their pieces and my latest purchase really brings a smile to my face. I can't wait to wear these out! When I purchase Werkshop, I try to imagine myself wearing them out casually as well as to the gym. If I can't see myself doing both, I back off from purchasing.
For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and wear a size 4 in Lululemon bottoms and a size small in Werkshop.
Vintage Crop Size Small
Ever since Werkshop released their Romance collection I decided Vintage was my favorite of the three offerings. Juliet is also high on my list. The entire collection is available in crop and full length. I decided to go with the crop length. As of right now I have about 5 pairs of crops and 3 pairs of full length leggings from Werkshop. I definitely find myself reaching for the crops way more.
Since I'm petite, the crops end a couple of inches above my ankle so they're more like 7/8 lengths on me. They are a little loose at the hem but it's not a deal breaker.
I really love the rose detail on this side! The colors are amazing. There are browns, blacks, pinks, some hints of purple. It's really lovely. I gasped when I saw these in person. However these are not 100% opaque. I found when I did the bend over test they are somewhat sheer. So it would be best to wear nude colored underthings.
Here is my outfit that I plan on wearing out. I threw it together pretty quickly. I'm wearing my Lululemon Resolution Wrap and Essential Tank with my Uggs. My husband hates these Ugg boots BTW because he says they're very "frat girl". I don't care they're so soft and warm!!
Butterflies Joggers Size XS
I also exchanged a pair of joggers that I purchased that were too big for Butterflies. Please note I sized down in these to XS. They're super comfy. I just wear these around the house and if I'm doing some errands.
This is a typical weekend outfit for me. A tank or tee, sneakers and a hoodie. I've been living in my Athleta Luxe Stronger Hoodie these days. Totally loving it more than my Scuba Hoodies at the moment!
Aaaaaand this is what happens when I ask my husband to take a photo of me. =T All out of focus and blurry. Oh well, at least he tried.

Love it all! So cute. Is your Essential tank sz 2 or 4? I'm a 6 in CRB/STR but had to sz down to a 4 in Essential.
ReplyDeleteI beleive she sized down to 2. Essential tank is bit big and roomy. I wear size 4 in most tops and own Essential tank in both size 2 and 4. Size 4 has slouch roomy look and size 2 fits cuter but snugs on my chest. (I usually wear size 6 in bra)
DeleteYup Yoginitiff is correct, I sized down to w 2. It's pretty roomy overall, it may be snug on your chest if you have big girls though! =)

That's true, luckily he only sees me wearing Uggs for a couple of months here. When I lived in NY/Boston I wore them a lot longer than that!
Ahhhh since Werkshop always release something too pretty, I cant really choose what to start with. I still like crane little more. I will see what happens until end of December. :)
DeleteI tried wunder under tulle print today. Yet I like print, I couldnt get over their long inseam. I probably need to hem 5-6 inches but i dont like baggy calf to ankle.
So far the tulle print is only available in hi-rise... not a fan really. if it came out in high times pant I think I might give it a try though.

DeleteMy pair arrived today! Tts, but maybe a little on tight side. They have a polyestery feel to them. I was lucky with good pattern placement! Can see hangtag through the bum, but if I wear a nude thong they are decent.

DeleteOh! Glad you got good pattern placement. It's always a risk with these! I heard they are a little on the tight side. I didn't size up though...
DeleteThey do stretch a little bit after you wear them. Which pair did you get? I think all of them have the same pattern placement since they are digitally printed. And yeah they are not 100% opaque and especially the lighter colors, but nude underthings are the way to go. I wore my Crane leggings out today to a Christmas party and got a lot of compliments!
