Fit Review! Alala Everyday Hoodie!

Ever since I saw Agent Athletica's review of Alala's Everyday Hoodie, I decided to give it a try myself.  I admit, the price is kind of intimidating.  $145 for a hoodie?  What has this world come to?  I thought Lululemon's price increase last year from $108 to $118 was steep for the Scuba Hoodie.  At least when I lived in NYC I wouldn't get taxed on the Scuba since it was under $110.  But at $118 you get taxed on the whole thing.  Ouch!

Anyway, I decided to pull the trigger and give it a try since I signed up for Orchard Mile, they give you $25 off your first order.  Free shipping and returns is always a plus AND no tax!  I got it for $120 even which is about the same as a Scuba Hoodie.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and size 2 in Scuba Hoodie III.  For the Everyday Hoodie I'm wearing size XS.  The fit is slim but very comfortable.  It's on the thin side which is fine since Hotlanta is currently 90 degrees.  I haven't worn a Scuba in forever here.  This is great for inside air conditioning and if I'm going out at night.  If you're in the northeast like I used to, I would wear this in the mornings on my way to work.  Except this is kind of too nice to wear on the subway lol.

See how nice it fits?  Perfection!  I love the hoodie and the gold details at the end of the hoodie pull strings.  I don't know what they're really called?  The only thing I would nitpick about the hoodie is the zipper.  The zipper feels slightly on the cheap side.  The zipper is smooth but it feels just a bit too plastic when you run it up and down.

The sleeves felt a little tight initially, but after wearing it a bit, I didn't notice it anymore.  I love the thumb holes, they are so much more comfortable than the Scubas.  They don't feel bulky or uncomfortable.  I always thought the Scuba thumbholes were too thick.

The length of the hoodie actually hits a little bit above my hip.  It doesn't cover the butt completely.   Overall I'm very happy I purchased this.  I think I'll get a lot of use out of it.

The fabric and feel is very soft.  I don't know if it will pill with wear, but I'll update this if it does.  If you're looking for a light weight hoodie, I highly recommend this one.   You can shop for it at Alala's website or Orchard Mile with a $25 discount if you sign up.  If you search online Alala also has coupons you can use 15% off.

Alala- still has all sizes in stock.

Orchard Mile- sold out in XS as of today.

In other news I ordered a pair of Sweaty Betty Navasana Leggings since they're having a huge sale right now!  I got it for 50% off!  I'll post a review of those when I get them.  Tomorrow I have a Lululemon fit review coming up.

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
