What We Love! February 26th 2016

Sorry for the late post.  Last night we celebrated my grandma's 90th birthday so I am back in New York for a week, and I just got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled today.  My mouth is currently numb and I can't feel my lower half of my face at all.  I'm just praying I'm not in too much pain later!

It looks like swim wear is making it's way even though I'm currently freezing in NY, and have no desire to get in a bathing suit anytime soon.  Two more days left for my ban.

    1. I agree, it is quite boring. So far, I'm feeling a bit sore but the pain overall isn't too bad. I'm crossing my fingers it stays that way!

  2. Take care of yourself! Hope your healing goes smoothly. Two days only? Wow! The month just zipped by! I'm in Tokyo now, so my ban ended a while ago. ;)

  3. Hi. I almost bought a Celine bag today- but decided to sleep on it. Went to the GINZA Chanel and considered a bag there as well. And a wallet! But I'm having cold feet! The multi level Hermes is sweet. But I wasn't wowed by anything I saw. So right now I am empty handed. The prices here aren't cheaper, though the selection seems to be better. Overall, there are lots of beauties here, but paying duties and taxes at Customs is making me pause. It's hard being Canadian and honest. :(

    1. These bags are all really expensive, so unless it makes your jaw drop and you say OMG I NEED THIS! Don't buy it! If you're going to spend your hard earned cash on something $2000 and up, it has to be a holy grail. Don't settle!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
