What We Love! January 29th 2016

Tuesday's upload will start the Spring collection which is inspired by the colors of Brazil.  Hmm.... makes me think I won't really like any of it.  But we shall see.  This week I purchased a What The Sport Tee which I really love,  however I think the heathered boom juice is a bit too bright for my tastes.  I would prefer berry rumble instead or red grape.  Also in 3 days I start my serious ban for the month of February.  I'm going to be super frugal for 28 days.  You can all join me if you like and we can be miserable together!

    Count me in! January was an expensive month, even though I tried to curb my spending. My upcoming trip to Tokyo will keep me focused on being frugal, so I can treat myself in Japan. :)

      I'm jealous you're going to Tokyo! I've never been and it's definitely on my wish list to visit one day.

    I'm in as well. May have gone a little crazy this month in anticipation of the February shopping ban! but I'm happy with what I have and will no doubt be fine without anything new until spring ... did that sound convincing? lol.

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

  Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

  So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

  I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48.
