Fit Review!! Cozy Up Buttercup Jacket, Down For A Run Vest, Runderful 1/2 Zip, Swiftly Short Sleeve

With all the hype surrounding the Cozy Up Buttercup Jacket I really wanted to see this at the store.  I had this idea in my head that it was going to overwhelm my petite frame.  Sadly, the store did not have the dark gray/black color but only the heathered Silver Spoon in my size.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11, 98 pounds.  Size 4 in fitted tops, but for outerwear I usually size down to a size 2.

Left open, the jacket does indeed look huge on me.  Size 2.

Zipped up, it looked better, but still roomy.

The back of the jacket covered my bum completely.

Inside it is completely lined with sherpa, including the sleeves and oh so soft!

Overall, I liked the jacket.  $178 like?  I'm not completely sold on the price.  I think I may have bought it if they had it in black.  So the question is, should I order it?  I'm sure this piece will sell out, as it already has in all smaller sizes at my store.

Next up, I really love this color green.  Fit was TTs, I took my regular 4 in Swiftly tops.  Fabric is soft and stretchy.  It's on my wish list still.

Swiftly Short Sleeve Tee in Heathered Peacock, Size 4.

As I love all things herringbone, I had to try on the Runderful 1/2 Zip in the heathered aquamarine color.  It's super soft, but the middle lump in the center underneath the chest area isn't too flattering.  It also looks a little lumpy in other places.  Overall, it was okay but I didn't love it.

Very lumpy in the back, I could not get it to lay flat

I could not resist trying on the Down For A Run Vest in inkwell.  I so love the color, but considering I just bought two vest on markdown, I can't justify a third one unless I got rid of one!  It looks great with the aquamarine color too.  I took my regular size 4 in the vests so I can layer hoodies under it.

Overall today was an okay day.  I returned the Cosmic Dot High Times Pant, but walked out of the store with nothing new.  I'm still debating on the Cozy Up Jacket.  The sales girl at the store said to me, "The sherpa is so soft, I personally would wear it with nothing just to feel the softness against bare skin!"

  1. Thank you for the reviews! I love the inkwell vest on you. I'm super tempted, but like you I don't need another vest. The buttercup jacket looks super cute as well. You had strong willpower today. I don't know if I'd be able to walk out of the store empty handed!

    1. Trust me it wasn't easy!! I almost bought the swiftly SS for running but I already have 2 and I can't justify a 3rd when I don't run as much in the winter time. But my husband is surprising me with the Cozy Up in black! I'll have a review of that next week when I get it! Hope I like it.

  2. That's amazing! You are a lucky girl. :)
Can't wait for your review. By the way, did you ever try on the runderful pant? It's on md and I regret not trying it on. I have the track to reality pant which I tell myself is almost the same...just with a looser liner and cinched bottom. Trying (somewhat unsuccessfully) to convince myself not to order online!

    1. I am totally lucky!
Nope I never tried on the Runderful's because the length would be too long and it's sort of a wider leg pant so I didn't think it would work. I've also read reviews and many said they had issues with the crotch area.

  4. By the way, I keep looking at your pics of the buttercup jacket and I prefer the look when it's unzipped. So stylish!

    1. I stopped by another Lululemon today and tried on the runderful pants since you piqued my interest and sure enough they are horrible. I'll have a review up soon!

  5. Lol! You're the best! I actually bought the dog runners a while back and have never liked them either. Too much static, weird bunching, and a pain to put on. I have never worn them! Thanks again!

  6. I find myself frequently admiring your photos of the buttercup jacket. So today I finally decided to order it online, but now the silver spoon in size 2 is sold out. Grrrr.

    1. The stores I've been to have the size 2 in the silver spoon. That size in black however is always sold out. You might still find it in stores!

  7. Thanks! I'm going to wait to see your review of the black one. I tend to buy black outerwear and thought the silver spoon would be a nice change. Old habits die hard!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
