Fit Review Friday! Athleta Girl Downplay Full Zip, Crazy Cozy Warm Up Hoodie

Happy Friday everyone! As a petite person, sometimes I will try on kids clothes. Most of the time it's not a good fit. My latest experience was amazing and makes me want to try on more kids clothes again!

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches and typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon tops. Size XXS or PXS in Athleta and size large in Athleta girls.

First, I loooove love love this hoodie. It fits like a glove. I really didn't think I would like the fit of girls clothing anymore, but Athleta has answered my hoodie prayers. It's lined with super soft french terry fabric. It feels like I'm petting my cats. It's not too tight anywhere and the sleeves actually are the right length for me. It's a miracle. I think I need to repeat that. The sleeves are the correct length on me! So this is a keeper. I can't say there's anything that I don't like. The color is a very soft pale pink with rose gold hardware. This actually reminds me a lot of Lululemon's coveted heathered bark berry Scuba but it's a much lighter and softer pink.

This hits right at the hip, which means the back does not fully cover the bum. That's okay with me though, most of my jackets are long so this is actually a breath of fresh air. The hood fits nicely. There are thumbholes but since the sleeves are the correct length I don't find myself using the thumbholes at all. Overall I'm very pleased with this hoodie. It's also $78. Pricey for a girls hoodie? Yes, but a steal if you're an adult stuck in a petite body!

Next up I am kinda obsessed with the color pink right now, so I wanted to also try on the girls version of their Responsible Down Jacket. I actually think the girls version fits me really nicely. Can you even tell it's for girls?

The front panels on this jacket are insulated with 650-fill down. It's pretty warm when I wore it for these photos. The jacket is semi fitted with some room to layer. The sleeves are again the perfect length. My only slight complaint are the wrist cuffs. They feel a little bit on the stiff side and slightly cheap in quality. The two pockets have zippers which is nice. Should I keep the jacket? I can't seem to decide. Let me know what you think!

That's all for me, I hope everyone has a great weekend! Sherlock says meow! He's getting bigger already. I can't believe we've had him for a month!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
