Cool Racerback Discontinued?

With all the recent discussion on this topic, here's my opinion.  As a petite person the Cool Racerback was never perfect.  Yes I admit I own 8 of them but I have two major issues with these tanks.  My top gripe is how low cut the tanks are on me.  I would prefer a higher cut for more coverage.  I can basically only wear these tanks when I workout, where showing a sports bra underneath that would peak out is not a major issue.  I couldn't wear these tanks to work because my regular bra would be on full display.  Could I wear these out casually?  Maybe, but I don't think I would be fully comfortable with it.  My second issue which isn't as important since these can be hemmed, is the length is always way too long.  And because of this, only the heathered versions of the tank worked since the material is much softer, stretchier, thinner and slinkier I could get away with it bunched up a bit around my waist.

For us petites, a new version of the Cool Racerback with a shorter length would be fine.  I'm all for it.  The second change may be a more narrow racerback.  That doesn't bother me as much.  I realize that Lululemon can never satisfy everybody, unless they decide to come out with a petite section and a tall section I don't see how everyone will ever be happy with changes.  But in the end I'm always willing to give things a chance.  Until I have the new version in my hands I'm willing to keep an open mind.

What do you guys think?

  1. I dont wear crb much either. I prefer Chi tanks or Renew racerback from Athleta. Neckline is too low and length is too long for me. Size 4 is too tight on my abs and look fat and size 6 is too loose somehow.

    1. I tried on a 6 in CRBs too and they are just too big. The 4 can sometimes be tight but the heathered ones has more stretch. I can only really wear those in CRBs. Have you tried the heathered ones? I find they are more forgiving. I did get the daily hoodie in size 2. I really love the color. I'm a sucker for hoodies though.

  2. Did you get your on the daily hoodie?
Size 4 went out while i was deciding. Color is so cute and tempted to buy but I got too much water gear from last WMTM. :(

  3. I love CRBs as they are so I would be sad if they discontinued it. I'm on the bustier/short side (34D, 5'3")and wear a 6 in CRBs. I find most other tanks sag around my middle. Curious to see what the replacement will be. Luckily I have a ridiculous amount of CRBs in rotation

    1. That's good, I'm sure people will start hoarding them after they discontinue! I've got enough for now. The only one I sort of regret not getting is the heathered forage teal color.

  4. Hey Petit Impact, did you see the pictures of the new CRB? I hate them! The racerback is angular and narrow. I have a long torso so I always go for long lengths and the current CRB is awesome. The new one is shorter.....not good! I will not be buying anymore CRBs after this change. Really bummed!

    1. I did see the photos... I have to wait and see it in person though before I totally decide if I like it or not. But my guess is I may not like the new version either... With the price increase if I don't absolutely love it, I won't be buying.

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
