It's that time of the year again.  Nordstrom Anniversary Sale  is officially open to the public. I rarely shop at Nordstrom, but I do like checking out their anniversary sale to see if there's anything that catches my eye. I posted my favorites from the sale. Did you buy anything? It's currently as hot as it gets in Atlanta. It's in the 90s and so humid the moment I step out of the car my glasses fog over. It's stifling hot and disgustingly humid. The worst kind of heat in my opinion. The only way I can stay cool is wearing loose fitted linen tops which I am so glad I bought! I'm also gearing myself up for my No Buy Challenge next month. I'm really into fall clothes so for the month of August, I'll be saving up. If anyone else would like to join me, please do!   Happy Friday! Today's post is all about ribbed Softstreme and you all know I love Softstreme fabric. Ribbed Softstreme does remind me of fine corduroy, especially in shorts and pants.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms. Please note, the sizes I'm trying on in this post are not size 4. 😆 Ribbed Softstreme High-Rise Short 2" Black Size 6 I've been hearing a lot of good things about the  Ribbed Softstreme High-Rise Shorts  even though there is no stretch to the waistband. I sized up in these and the reviews are correct. While these fit well in size 6, there is not much give in the waist. They are high-rise and sit above my belly button.  I think these look flattering from the front, but slightly too much fabric from the sides and back. The color black also looks like a dark charcoal/gray. The two inch inseam was fine from the front and slightly shorter in the back, but I didn't feel like it was too
