Petite Impact

  I'm back! Not having power and internet really is not fun. I do not have an easy time seeing things in the dark even with candles on and I was scared to move anywhere because I didn't want to accidentally step on any of my cats! 😩 Luckily I still had cellular data and was able to surf a little bit and check on things but also couldn't do it too much because I wanted to save my battery. I was soooo happy when all the lights turned on and thankfully they stayed on.  So back to our regular scheduled programming.   Hi guys! Happy Friday. I am just updating from my phone at the moment. Hurricane Zeta knocked out our power. So I’ve got no WiFi. I’m sitting in the dark with my husband and four kits.  I don’t know when I’ll get internet back. Hopefully over the weekend. Another weekend over. I swear they go by so fast. It's almost the end of October. Normally I like to buy a few items during fall to refresh my wardrobe and more often than not, I turn to J.Crew. They always have pieces that can transition from the office to the weekend. Even though I'm no longer going into the office these days, I couldn't resist these two pieces.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a XXS/XS in J.Crew. I also wear a size 4 in Lululemon tops. Sophie Sweater Blazer Chevron  Size XXS I used to have a very similar chevron sweater from Anthropologie that I wore to death and got compliments every time I wore it. This sweater blazer kind of reminds me of that Anthropologie sweater I used to have. It's super soft and I was pleasantly surprised when I took it out of the bag at how much I liked it. The fabric is lightweight, yet cozy. This is something I would wear to the office but this is also a piece that can easily be worn on a weekend outing. Not

Happy Friday everybody! Today we have a fitting room review from Athleta. Shopping in person is still a really strange thing for me. Masks at all times and it is hard trying to social distance from other customers while browsing. I guess this is the new normal for now!  For reference I am 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically size 4 in Lululemon and this translates to size XS/PXS in Athleta. Organic Daily Camo Crew Laurel Olive Size XS I'm wearing size XS in the  Organic Daily Camo Crew  and this is a semi-fitted tee. I definitely like the fit and found it to be flattering. The length is just a tiny bit too long on my petite torso, but otherwise I liked this a lot. I may want to try this in the petite size. Athleta stores do not carry a petite section, unfortunately. I wish they would! This is a thin t-shirt made of organic cotton which is why it is priced at $49. Definitely a little pricey even for organic cotton in my opinion.
