New Releases Week of September 16th 2025

We all knew the day was coming, right? Lulu has finally raised their prices on some of their most popular items by $10 at least. I think the Wunder Puff items have gone up even more than that, but I can't recall the exact prices last year. Is the price increase due to tariffs? I think that's pretty likely. Or is it because their sales are down and this is one way to help bring those numbers back up? Maybe. I've bought a total of three items from Lululemon this year, which is an all time low for me. I used to buy three items a month back in the day (2016). How do you all feel about this, does it change anything for you? I think this group as a whole has shopped less from Lululemon and shifted to other brands like Athleta. Although Athleta has been pretty boring lately for me. I keep looking at Varley. I may have to finally place an order and give them a go. Now that Lulu has increased their prices, it's about the same as Varley!

In other news, halfway through the no-buy challenge and it's going well. My wishlist has a few items on it, but not much I'm super interested in.

($268 EEK!)

(This is a really nice green.)

(Cute, but I wonder if it's very itchy.)

($348 I'm pretty sure this went up a bit.)

(Extra $10 which means $150 after taxes for me now.)

Vuori

(This whole outfit is so cute.)

  1. Hi Leslie,
The Wunder Puff 600 Down Fill Jacket was priced at Canadian dollars $298 last year and it’s now $348! We shall see more price increases in the next few months which will greatly affect retail sales …

    1. Hi Andrea! OMG I think it was $278 last year for the Wunder Puff Cropped jacket. Now it's $348! Wow, what a huge jump. The vest used to be $228 and now it is $268! Ouch. I'm glad I have my vest. Never bought the jacket though because I always looked too much like a marshmallow. I am very curious to see how the holiday season will look. 😐

    2. I’m not a vest person and glad I got the Wunder Puff Down Jacket in three colors - Heathered Plumful, Heathered Wild Indigo and Oil Gray. They are light, warm and super cute, just perfect for our Canadian winters. :)

    3. I don't have much use for a full down jacket living in the south, but I would probably have kept one if I still lived in the northeast. I love Heathered Plumful, def one of my favorites! So glad you have one!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Fit Review Friday! Allbirds Tree Glider - 15% off Your Purchase!

Hi everyone! I'm posting from New Orleans. I'm hitting up a Lululemon while I'm here. I always like to visit other Lululemon stores when I'm traveling. I was planning on having an Aviator Nation review for you guys but Hurricane Helene threw my plans out the window. So I will try and have it up when I get back to Atlanta. In the meantime, here's an Allbirds review.  For reference my street size is 5.5. I'm usually a 5.5 in Allbirds, but for the Tree Gliders they run large. I took these in a size 5. Definitely size down. I've partnered up with Allbirds! Super excited to share my  personal link . Click on  my link  for a 15% off.  Tree Glider Natural White Beige/Blizzard Sole  Size 5 I went to visit the Allbirds store in Avalon and got to try these on in person. I love how they use their shoe laces as the handle to carry the shoe box. It's really cool and love how sustainable they are. Even the packaging is well thought out. Plus you get an extra pair ...
