New Releases Week of March 11th 2025

Kind of a boring Lululemon drop today. But TBH, it's been boring for awhile lately. However, Vuori has a few new items I am interested in and as soon as April 1st comes around I am placing an order for their  Villa Ankle Pant in Chia. I am hoping my size doesn't sell out! 😣 I also have a cart ready to go from Varley when this no-buy challenge is over. I have been putting off placing an order, but I really do like their offerings way more than Lulu and Athleta these days. But the pricing is ouch. Did you order anything?

(OK may have to order these April 1st!)

(That blue!! 😍)

  1. Oooh a swiftly oversized crop! there goes my monthly limit for clothing and shoe purchases. I received the wide leg softstreme crops! The sheer oak is lovely! they're full length on me but I'll get them hemmed to ankle length. Those Vuori villa pants, I wonder if they're petite friendly. I haven't had much luck with Vuori pants. thanks for the post. Cindy

    1. Hi Cindy! Yes the Swiftly OS crop caught my eye too. Will see if I can get a fit review of that. Glad you like the Sheer Oak! I hope to try those on at the store soon.

The Vuori Villa Ankle pants have a 26.5 inch length. Will probably be full length on me, but I don't mind.

  2. I've been really good with the no-buy so far this month. It helps that the drops haven't been too interesting lately. I'm not excited about the colors being offered on both Athleta and Lulu right now. I'm ready for some brights!

    1. Hi Lola! Same here. So far, this is easier than January. January was rough. But I still have a wish list of things I would like to order come April! None of it is from Lulu though. It's been Vuori and Varley and a little bit of Athleta.

  3. I really like Red Glow and have both the F&F Shorts and Pave Rival Shorts in my cart. I'll wait to see if either go on sale... + a matching top! The Adapted State Perforated Joggers are too long for me - but nice. They are lightweight and perfect for spring/fall/most of winter in TX. The Energy Bra Evolve is also nice. It's soft and stretchy and not nearly as restrictive as the OG version. I'm planning to try on the joggers, bra, and Swiftly OS Crop tomorrow night. :)

My store also got quite a bit of the SLNSH collection, and it's a no for me. The Define Jacket is the only piece I sort of liked in, but I just wouldn't wear it.

    1. Hi LZ! Report back if you end up getting anything tomorrow. I'm very interested in the Swiftly OS Crop.

Yeah, the SLNSH collection didn't speak to me either.

    2. I liked all 3! The joggers are too long, but I can unzip them at the ankle. They have a shorts liner since the perforations make them see through. The Energy Bra Evolve is much more comfortable and fits well - no need for a B-D cup. Size small fits like a 6. The Swiftly OS Crop was my fav. My usual size 4 was perfect. The neck hole is snug but the overall fit is really cute. I like the high/low hem!

    3. Ohhhh, sounds like you had a good experience! I am looking forward to the Swiftly OS Crop. Maybe the neck hole will stretch a little?

  4. I'm interested in Magenta Smoke. It looks like a nice deep color. Almost a jewel tone. I haven't seen it in any pieces that I want yet, so I'm not tempted. I ended up buying some nice beaded Easter place mats since I got a $15 off coupon and I've been waiting some for a while. But, I'm not upset with myself about spending on home decor since I'm really trying to avoid buying clothes, shoes and bags. Those seem to be my big impulse buys. So far, that part has been good this month.

    1. Hi Stacy! Very nice! We're almost halfway and sounds like you're doing a great job with the challenge. So far my purchases have been stuff like floss, shampoo, and lotion since I am running low. So ready for it to be April though!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Review! Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Size Small Plus Video

You all know I love my bags, and as a Balenciaga collector, I don't often stray from the City and First style. The Rodeo (pronounced like Rodeo Drive) really caught my eye. It gives off a slouchy Hermes Kelly vibe, but way more practical to use.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall. Balenciaga Rodeo Bag Small The Rodeo can be carried a few ways. It comes with a crossbody strap that is not adjustable but it is removable. Not sure why anyone wouldn't add a few extra holes to make a strap adjustable these days. Come on Balenciaga! Do better! The top handle is a bit too long for this to work anyhow, I feel like the top handle gets in the way. It sticks out and doesn't sit well in my opinion. I wouldn't carry this bag crossbody unless it was an unforeseen emergency and I really needed my hands free. This bag looks more chic carried by the handle or crook of the arm. It also looks nice left open with the help of the flap tucked in. The Rodeo resembles the Kelly bag ...

Review! Lululemon's Large Everywhere Belt Bag Size Comparison Plus Video!

Happy Friday! I can't believe it's almost Halloween! I actually have a dentist appointment on Halloween. One of my molars chipped and needs to be filled in. It's a tiny chip that I didn't even notice until my dentist pointed it out to me during my last visit. I'm not looking forward to it at all since I will need local anesthesia. Anyway, today I have a belt bag size comparison review for you all! For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
