Fit Review Friday! Athleta Spirit Wool Cashmere Wrap, Coaster Luxe V-Neck Sweatshirt, NOBULL MicroPlush Sleeveless Hoodie
Happy Friday! Athleta is having a 25% off sale on a huge selection right now. Definitely worth checking out. I have part one of my Athleta haul up for review. I'll post the other half on Monday. 😅
For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size PXS in Athleta. I also wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.
Spirit Wool Refined Cashmere Wrap Size XXS

Athleta updated their Spirit Wool Cashmere Wrap from last year. The fit is the same, but this year's version does not have the side slit and the neckline is different. I'm wearing last year's version in these photos. The updated version is also machine washable. The wool-cashmere blend is soft, but I do find it ever so slightly itchy. I'm wearing size XXS and it does hit at the knee for me. It's a great piece for layering and perfect for transitional fall weather.
When I saw Athleta's Retropush Cocoon Hoodie in Magnolia White, I ordered it to try. In person the hoodie is ginormous! I just laughed because of how gigantic it is. I ordered size XXS and the arm holes went down to my low ribs, it was quite comical. I didn't even bother taking photos because it was just too big. I think I would need size XXXXS. 😂 After that mishap, I became obsessed with finding a sleeveless hoodie. I love the look of a hoodie underneath a wrap or a blazer but without the bulk of the sleeves.
So of course I went online to search for a different sleeveless hoodie and found one from NOBULL. I've never ordered from them before, but after reading a ton of reviews raving about this hoodie, I pulled the trigger and placed an order. The color I ordered is Frost. Frost is a light gray and reminds me of chalk. The inside is lined with the softest micro plush fleece. It's very cozy. I'm wearing size XS.
The armholes are a little large and you can see a bit of what I'm wearing underneath, but since I'm planning on using it as a layer, it's totally fine. The length hits at the low hip, similar to a regular hoodie.
What do you think of this look? I can also see myself wearing it underneath a casual blazer and it would look stylish yet sporty. I wish Athleta's blazers came in petite sizing. I would love to try one.

Last but not least we have the Coaster Luxe V-Neck Sweatshirt. If you love the Coaster Luxe Sweatshirt, you'll love the v-neck version too. I'm wearing size PXS in Toasted Brown Heather. It is super soft and cozy. Perfect for lounging. The sleeves are a little long, but I do love the thumbholes. Fit is relaxed and the v-neck isn't too deep. I'm going to be living in this with my Vuori Joggers. 😆
The length is shorter in the front and slightly longer in the back. There is a slit at the side of the sweatshirt. The back of the neckline also has a slight v-neck as well. It's a really cute detail. I love this pullover and hope to see more colors released.

I love how you put together that outfit with the sleeveless hoodie and wrap! It looks casual and put-together at the same time! Sleeveless hoodies have never been on my radar, but the No Bull one has me intrigued. Love that color too - it looks like Lulu's Vapor.
ReplyDeleteSo much for my "no-buy" October. It ended up being an expensive week for me. I put an order in for a pair of the Strongfeels to try, and I caved and finally pulled the trigger on the Tinsel Seasoft Crops at Athleta. I'm going to try to not look at any more shopping websites until Black Friday now.

hi Leslie! I love how you styled the Nobull sleeveless hoodie with the Spirit Wool Refined Cashmere Wrap and Vuori joggers! I think the hoodie would look good under a blazer too! The Coaster Luxe Sweatshirt is so soft and great for lounging! I have one in the crewneck style from last year. The V neck style looks good too! I like that the neckline is not too low. I was tempted to order the Seasoft crops with the 25% off promo, but decided to hold off because my bottoms drawer is getting full. Have a great weekend!

Hoping it will come in more colors. The neckline is not too low at all. The 25% sale is so good! Definitely hard to pass up. I'm trying to be good for the rest of the month, but we'll see.... =D
