Review! Polo Ralph Lauren Mini Bellport Bucket Bag

Happy Monday! It's another new week, and we are closing in on the end of January. Now I have not reviewed a bag in a long time, and I have a few coming up. Starting off with this gorgeous bucket bag. I've tried the Mansur Gavriel Mini Mini Bucket Bag a couple of years ago and while I loved the size, I did not love the stiff leather. Ever since then I've been looking for the perfect bucket bag.

For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall.

I've never purchased a bag from Ralph Lauren before. I've always looked at them but none of them ever seemed to fit my style. Just on a whim, I recently checked their website to see what new bags were available and knew the moment I saw this mini bucket bag, I had to order it. For one thing, the price is only $298 versus $465 for the Mansur Gavriel bucket bag. Secondly, the color Cuoio is the perfect classic brown that will never go out of style. It's so saturated and rich with contrasting stitching which I love.

Also wearing Aviator Nation Retro Crew Sweatshirt Size XS (review coming soon!)

The shoulder strap is adjustable and I have it on the shortest setting. Even on my short stature the bag hits perfectly at my hip. The size is quite generous for such a small bag. If you can fit everything you need in Lululemon's Everywhere Belt Bag, you'll have no problem with the size of this bag.

Let's see what fits. I've got my Chanel pouch, Icebreaker mints, Quay sunglasses, Gucci card case, Alexander McQueen key holder and Peeps eyeglass cleaner.

Alexander McQueen Key Holder (old)

Inside is lined with suede and it definitely does smell like leather. I personally love the smell of new leather. I wish someone can bottle it up in a perfume for me. I can fit everything in the bag including my iPhone 12 Pro with room to spare. The bag is very lightweight, it doesn't even weigh one pound.

I love the minimalistic look and feel of this bucket bag. Here are some close up photos. The leather is so buttery and soft. The hardware is brass and I just love the white stitching. There is a small logo on the bottom of the bag, and it's just imprinted on the leather, so it is barely noticeable.

I've already used this bag for a couple of weeks and the leather is breaking in nicely. On the back of the bag it looks like a scratch but it's just the variation in the leather. Even so, I think scratches will add more character to the bag. There is a drawstring leather tab where you can pull to cinch in the top and it's very easy to use.

This is the perfect petite bucket bag and I can't recommend it enough, there are no flaws that I can find. Right now this bag comes in two colors. The Truffle brown is on sale for $199. It's a steal. This also comes in a suede and embossed croc as well.

  3. that's a cute and casual bag you can use a lot! I usually like bags with zippers so things don't fall out. I've never tried bucket bags

    1. I definitely prefer zipper bags, but the bucket bag is actually a lot of fun and super easy to use. Do have to be a little bit careful that you don't turn it upside down. LOL.

Review! Everywhere Belt Bag

Update! 5/2/2022 Read my comparison review of the Everywhere Belt Bag Extended Strap versus the original release. Happy Mother's Day to all those who celebrate it. Even fur moms deserve a little something on this holiday. I usually go back to New York for Mother's Day and this is the first year that I haven't been able to do so because of the pandemic. I did FaceTime my mom and grandma today, it's always nice to be able to "see" them. It's so much better than just talking on the phone.  Today I have a review of what I like to call my pandemic bag. I haven't used one of my high end designer bags since this whole thing began a couple of months ago. I am just a little concerned with everything coming in and out of the house these days and prefer to use something I can easily wipe down or throw in the washing machine. Which is why I purchased Lululemon's Everywhere Belt Bag .  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 on a good day. I'm usuall

Review! Lululemon Double Strap Face Mask

Update- I have an another review for the Ear Loop Face Mask  version. Hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend. I have tons of reviews coming up, but first I need to cover the Lululemon Double Strap Face Mask. It's currently sold out, but I do expect them to restock at some point.  Before we get into it, let's take a look at the mask by itself.  First of all, this is a not a medical-grade mask and has only a single layer. There is no pocket for a filter, and it's not lined. The material feels like my In Alignment bra  to be honest. It's very soft and pliable. Instead of ear loops, which is what I've grown accustomed to for all my masks, this one has a double strap that you adjust to your head. They're very similar to adjustable bra straps.   The inside has a very thick seam running down the middle of the mask along with a nose piece. There is no wire for the nose. By the way, I bought two masks, one for me and one for my husband. It's too small for my husb

Fit Review! Aritzia TNA Super Puff Shorty & The Little Fuzzy Puff

Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday weekend! I loved doing nothing for a few days. I got to relax and spent quality time with my furkids and husband. I also took a ton of photos - so I guess not all of it was doing nothing! This year I wanted to replace a few of my winter jackets. It took me a long time to find new coats but I think I finally found two winners! Both jackets are TNA - which stands for Talula National Athletics which is a Aritzia clothing brand. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 and typically a size 4 in Lululemon tops. Here I am trying on size small and XS in TNA/Aritzia. This is the first time I'm trying this brand. The Little Fuzzy Puff  Stone Taupe Size Small What drew me to the Little Fuzzy Puff is the inside fleece lining. It is super soft and cozy. The fleece lining is only on the hood and body of the jacket. This jacket is water resistant and wind resistant. It's also very light weight and packable. The fabric on the outside is very soft, similar to the
