Fit Review Friday! Love Tee Short Sleeve V-Neck, Swiftly Racerback Tank Race Length, Ebb To Street Crop Tank

Happy Friday! This will be my last Lululemon fit review post for a while. My ban is starting in 2 days and I won't be placing any orders until September 1st! 😱 I'm pretty excited to shop my closet for the entire month of August. There's a chance I might go and visit the stores to do try ons, but I can't make any promises since the new Covid cases are starting to hit 100,000 a day again. 😩 I do have a bunch of fit reviews planned. I've got some Allbirds, Vuori, Rothys, Aviator Nation, Naked Cashmere, J.Crew  reviews lined up- just to name a few. I also have a compliation of Athleta reviews coming next week for my Canadian friends!

Let's get to this week's fit review. For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and typically wear size 4 in Lululemon tops and bottoms.

I've been looking for a comfy V-neck short sleeve tee for a little while, and this one checks all the boxes. It's a very loose fit and the fabric feels super soft. I was a little worried the V-neck would be too low cut, but that's not the case and I'm wearing my usual size 4. I did find the front to be a little long on me and it looks best tucked in.

The Slub fabric is very soft and drapes nicely. I also tried this in the pima cotton version for comparison. It's a great casual tee for summer and I couldn't pass this one up in Spiced Chai.

This is the pima cotton version of the Slub V-neck. I took photos of the front and back to show how long it is not tucked in. The fabric is a bit more weighted than the Slub tee and it's more crisp. It does not drape as nice but that's because of the thicker fabric. It's still very smooth and soft to touch. The sleeves also end mid-way down my arm.

Between the two tees, I prefer the Slub V-Neck because of the thinner and softer fabric. The Eton Blue is currently on sale for $34

I've been eyeing the Swiftly Racerback Race Length for awhile, just waiting for the right color before I took the plunge. I'm actually surprised this color isn't sold out by now, it's really nice in person. I don't think the photos on the website do it justice. The length is perfect for petites. I don't think I can go back to the regular length Swiftly tops anymore! I'm wearing my usual size 4 and it is true to size. Size 4 is fairly fitted on me but not too tight. For those curious the length measures 19.5 inches long.

Last but not least, this is my third Ebb To Street Crop Tank. I do prefer these over the full length version. So much more petite friendly! They're great for casual wear and for working out. I love double duty pieces. I'm wearing my usual size 6 in Lululemon bras. BTW those white shorts I'm wearing here are so old, I ended up putting them in the donation pile after these photos were taken. 😆

That's it for me! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! See you in August!

  1. What a delightful review! Colors are pretty and all pieces look good on you! Spiced Chai is such a gorgeous color and I’m still waiting for a piece I like in this color, hopefully a wrap. It’s a shame that Lululemon no longer makes wraps in French Terry. They don’t pill like Rulu and snags as easy as Boolux or Cashlux. Savasana Wrap and Gratitude Wrap are still my most loved Lululemon items after all these years.

Oh I’m so excited about the upcoming Athleta review! Hope it will include hoodie, jacket, wrap and joggers! :)

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. Thanks Andrea! I don't mind Rulu, it is really soft but it comes at a price. I have not seen French Terry in a long time at Lululemon.

I will have to go through all my Athleta reviews and put together a best of for you guys! Have a great weekend!!

  2. hi Leslie~ Thanks for the fit review! I've been wanting to try the new Love Tee. I like that the V neck is not too low. Since I have narrow shoulders, I think I may be able to size down on this top. The ETS Crop Tank in Wisteria Purple looks very good on you! I ordered the navy one on Tuesday, but now I'm tempted by the purple! Hee hee...must practise self control!

    Have a great weekend!

    1. Hi Karen! I have the ETS Crop Tank in black which is why I didn't purchase in navy. I wish they would release it in a lighter blue or teal. Join me for the month of August! I'll be practicing self control for 31 days! I'm going to need some company. =D

    2. I've never done a no-buy before, but I can try. If Lululemon releases a saturated dark purple like Court Purple then I won't be able to resist! ^__^

  3. I love the way the slub tee drapes! I caved and bought the get centred hoodie in black! I will report back on how I like it!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...
