It's the beginning of another week and I'm super excited to share with you my new pair of Allbirds Wool Loungers. I've been eyeing these for a long time. My sister and my mom both have a pair. I seriously don't know why I waited to long to pull the trigger on these especially since I love their Wool Runners and Mizzles

For reference my normal shoe size is 5. I wear a size 6 in both the Wool Runners and Mizzles with thick socks. For the Wool Loungers I am wearing my normal size 5 since these are meant to be worn without socks. I also wear a size 5 in Rothy's The Point and Mary Jane

Allbirds Wool Loungers SF Gray Size 5

I've been looking for a pair of slip ons for a while. Something casual for summer. Normally I'm in my Wool Runners and Mizzles. They are my go to shoes every single day since lockdown/quarantine. These are just as comfortable. They feel even better than my Ugg house slippers. The size 5 fits like a dream. Not too tight and not too loose. These only come in whole sizes, so if you're in between sizes, definitely size up. There is plenty of cushion so these feel extra soft and cozy. These are meant to be worn during cooler temperatures since they are made of wool, but my feet are always freezing so without socks, they're actually perfectly fine for me. Plus I can always throw them in the washing machine if they do get stinky. Machine wash is always a plus. Just make sure to air dry.

I've already worn these a few weeks and will definitely say these will not be my only pair. I'm hoping Allbirds will re release another pair in a pink or something fun for summer. There's a really vibrant pacific blue but not sure if that's really me. So I will patiently wait for new colors. New fall colors should be coming soon!

One thing I definitely need to mention, these are not meant for walking in the rain. The bottoms do not have deep treads, and will be slippery when wet. So be careful if you get caught in the rain with these on. Other than that, these wool loungers are amazing. I'm seriously debating if I want a pair just for indoor use only. Is that crazy?

Bottoms treads.

That's it for me! Hope you all have a great Monday!

  1. You made me wanna get a pair of Allbirds every time I read your review, but every time I looked at the website the color I wanted was sold out in the my size! I want the Mist color with Dark Grey sole in the Wool Lounger. :(

I wish they had a store in Toronto where I could do a try on. Just don’t feel comfortable buying shoes online (new brands that I’ve never worn before), even though Allbirds offer amazing return policy. I’m size 37.5 but wears size 7 in Skechers. Not sure if the shoes will be huge if I size up to size 8 ...

By the way, would you recommend getting a pair of Wool Loungers, Wool Runners or or Wool Runners Mizzles for first time buyer? Which one do you like better? They are expensive so I could only invest on one pair for a try, Really appreciate your advice!

    1. If your normal shoe size is 37.5 a size 8 in the Wool Runners or Mizzles should be fine. They run slightly small. Between the two, the Mizzles are my favorite.

After the Mizzles I would say the Wool Loungers are my second favorite. They do have a great return policy. Could always order two sizes if you're not sure and then return the one that doesn't fit- or return both! 30 day return policy no questions asked. You can even wear them and still return them- even used. It doesn't get better than that. If you get a pair let me know what you think!

  2. Thanks, Leslie! I just reread your review on Wool Runner Mizzles and I love your collection of Allbirds! Would definitely want a pair in mauve or purple color! Checked the Allbirds website just now and all they have are greys, black, blues and sage, none of which I’m really interested. Hopefully they will offer some rich fall colors soon!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
