Kitten Update! Nero turns 20!!

Taking a break from all the reviews tonight and want to give an update on our five cats! Nero officially turned 20 years old! Yes that's right, twenty! He's a sweetie, but is not a fan of the teens in our house. All of our kittens are officially over one year old. Neko was the last to turn one back in March.

Nero the grump!

Neko is making herself comfy on my vintage Balenciaga bag. I really shouldn't let her do this, but she is just too cute.

Flash has really unique eyes. Sometimes they look dark brown almost black. Other times they look like a golden orange.

Flash & Neko are BFFs.

Simi is a sweet girl but needs to have her claws trimmed! She likes to make bread on your lap and it hurts!

Ash has grown up to be a handsome big boy. He's the biggest one of the gang.

Can you tell which one is Ash?
Ash is on the left, Neko on the right.

Ash is always kind of has a sleepy look, Neko is the opposite always bright and wide eyed!

Nero has more green in his eyes.

Neko is a sweetie too. I have a soft spot for black cats.

Flash on the left when he was about 6 months and Flash now on the right. Still loves to sit that way.

And he even has a Funko Pop that looks like him!

Simi loves her head rubs.

Nero looking goofy.

Everyone wants to be with Flash always.

Hope everyone had a great weekend! We are getting our windows replaced tomorrow morning and had to prep the condo this weekend. Hopefully everything works out smoothly! I'm excited that we will finally pick out new shades and curtains.

  1. Happy birthday Nero! Wishing you a wonderful day and many more happy years to come!

Thanks for the kitty update and it just melts my heart! I wish dogs live as long as cats! My boy will turn 16 by the end of August. Taking care of one dog is a lot of work and I don’t know how you can deal with five kittens lol! You’re an amazing kitty mommy!

    1. Thanks! 16 is amazing for a dog. I hope many more years of happiness for your boy too. These little guys mean everything to me. Wish I could save some more but five is a lot to handle! This morning trying to wrangle all four into one room for the windows was so bad. I have battle wounds to show for it hahahaha!

Review! Coach Soft Empire Carryall 40 Merlot

I am super excited about this review! This has been the most anticipated Coach bag since The Rogue came out. At least for me. When I first saw this bag on the purseblog , my eyes widened and I was immediately obsessed. The Soft Empire Carryall comes in four sizes. Size 48 is ridiculously big, I cannot pull it off, but the 40? Perfect. Size 35 and 26 just doesn't give off the same wow factor. This bag is meant to be a statement piece and head turner. Kudos to Stewart Vevers for creating another hit that everyone will be obsessing over for a long time. I hear that more colors will be released soon, and I am hoping the distressed lived-in version will not be exclusive to size 48. In case it doesn't happen, I'll be using my Empire 40 as much as I can to give it a distressed look myself.  For reference I'm 4 feet 11 inches tall and please check out my video to see what fits! Coach Empire 40 Merlot This bag is huge, it's definitely the biggest bag in my collection. ...

Did You Know There Are Two Different Ugg Companies? Review - UGG Lowmel

So I was shocked when I learned a couple of months ago that there are actually two UGG brands. The original UGG since 1974 is the original Australian brand that are made from sheepskin. The other is an American company with the big G uses synthetic fabric and are made in China/Vietnam. Here are the two different logos.  The one the left with the big G in the middle is the company that's made in China/Vietnam. The one on the right is the original UGG since 1974. Each pair is made in Australia! I had no idea and feel so duped. I didn't learn this until after I bought the Lowmel's which are very popular at the moment. But I will order a pair from UGG since 1974 so I can support the original brand. Plus I really want to experience the real thing and I will report back my findings. 😅 That said, I still actually really like the Lowmels. UGG Lowmel Sand   Size Kids 4 I typically wear size 5.5 and I decided to try the kids size 4 which actually fit well, if just a smidge large...

First Impressions! On Cloudmonster Void

Happy Friday! I've been branching out into other brands for footwear. I mentioned in a previous post I just don't think my Allbirds are cutting it anymore. Allbirds are more of a casual walking shoe. Anything over 10K, my feet start to hurt. I have tried Hokas, and they seem to be decent so far, I can walk 12K steps a day and haven't had issues. However, I am loving the On Cloudmoster Void even more! For reference I typically wear size 5.5 in Allbirds which is my normal street size for sneakers and I am also wearing size 5.5 in On Cloudmonster Void. On CloudMonster Void Ivory | Wolf Size 5.5 (Currently on sale for 20% off -  $135) I'm not a huge fan of logos on my shoes. I decided on this colorway because I love the light gray and lilac combo and it does have a big On logo, but it blends in nicely with the colors. It still has a minimalistic vibe.  This shoe has a 6mm heel to toe shoe drop. This is a good height if you're a heel to toe striker which I am. This is...
